Sacramento (Holy Sacrament Chapel).

1930-1949Il lanificio supera le difficoltà della 2° guerra mondiale producendo principalmente divise per l’esercito italiano, tra i clienti più importanti Fiat e l’Alfaromeo. 1930-1949The wool mill managed to get over the difficulties of the 2nd World War and mainly produced uniforms for the Italian Army. Fiat and Alfaromeo were ones of its most famous customers.

1970-1990Il lanificio Carotti viene fortemente colpito dalla modi-ficazione delle condizioni di mercato e dal passaggio all’industria moderna. La tessitura viene sospesa definitivamente nel 1977/78. Il lanificio chiude i bat-tenti all’inizio degli anni ‘90. 1970-1990In 1976 Carotti’s wool mill was particularly struck by the changes in the market conditions and the industrial revolution. It definitively gave up weaving in 1977/78 and it put up the shutters in the early nineties.

1915Gli immobili vengono acquistati da Augusto Carotti tra il 1915 ed il 1919 che installa negli edifici della cartiera un setificio e lanificio. 1915From 1915 to 1919 Augusto Carotti bought the paper mill buildings and used them as silk mills and wool mills.

1950-1960Lo stabilimento conta oltre 300 operai ed è famoso per le attività di socialità organizzate al suo interno.1950-1960The wool mill employed over 300 workers and it was famous for the social events taking place at its premises.

1980-1990Renato Carotti e Pagliardini Giovanni decidono il riacquisto dell’intero opificio e decidono insieme di riavviare la vecchia centrale idroelettrica, la prima del Metauro con antichi macchinari recuperati, gli stessi che fecero l’Italia industrializzata del dopoguerra.1980-1990Renato Carotti together with Pagliardini Giovanni decided to take over the whole mill and start again and old water power plant. This is the first plant built along the Metauro river where the old reconditioned equip-ment, which turned Italy into an industrialised country in the years after the Second World War, is now fully functioning.
