The RO plant for domestic use is installed under the sink and under plinth of the kitchen shelf. It does not need storage tank.

DOMESTIC REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEMS Micro-filtration systems

Depura is a 2 stages micro-filtration system. It eliminates sand, rust dust, chlorine, organic substances and pesticide from water.

It is designed with 2 distinct micro-filtration stages composed of:

- n.1 filter cartridge made of polypropylene Melt Blow, with filtration degree of 5 micron;- n.1 filter cartridge made of granular activated carbon from coconut;

It is recommended to install in combination with DEPURA an UV ray plant (ECO-MINISTAR), suitable as third stage of treatment to eliminate any virus, bacteria or pathogenic microorganism.

The DEPURA system is delivered without water inlets and tap to customize the system according to own needs. Water inlet and tap have to be ordered apart (see side page).

Depura

AQUA ULTRA is a micro and ultra filtration system with 4 stages. It is compact and it is suitable for be installed under the sink and under plinth of the kitchen shelf.Remove turbidity, sand, rust flakes, chlorine, organic substances, bad tastes or odours, pesticides and bacteria from water. Thanks to ultra-filtration membrane it removes all particles with dimension over 0,01 micron.

The new reverse osmosis unit PRF-RO is characterized by the production of up to 170 l/h of osmotic water, allowing the direct withdrawal by the user without the need for storage tank.

- to put into operation, pressure > 2,8 bar is sufficient;- compact design, fits under any sink; - certificate NSF/ANSI58;- high recovery rate (up to 33%);- optional booster pump when water pressure <2,8 bar. PRF-RO is also designed to meet the needs of the commercial market such as restaurants, pubs, water coolers, ice machines, aquariums, etc. It is not recommended for industrial or medical facilities or to be used in extreme conditions.

It consists of:- n.1 activated carbon cartridge as pre-filter;- n.2 Reverse osmosis membranes;- n.1 activated carbon cartridge as post filter;- n.1 tap + set of pipes and fittings for complete installation.

The PRF-RO is designed to run on potable water, in case of different water quality contact the Idroservice’s technical department, in order to establish an adequate pre-treatment and to prevent premature fouling of the membranes.

MOD-PRO reverse osmosis

The recovery percentage is between 25 and 40% depending on salinity (TDS), specific scaling salts and pre-treatment installed. For hard waters (>20°f) or with high values of salinity (TDS> 1000) it is recommended to contact the Idoservice technical office.

MOD-PRO is a reverse osmosis plant intended for residential/commercial users (houses/flats, bar/dining halls/ restaurants).

It is a simple and economical solution to problems connected with potable or well waters that need to be treated with reverse osmosis.

The average rejection of permeate is 90-95, afterwards suitable in residential/potable cases.

It is not necessary any power supply, the water is treated thanks to the network pressure ( it should be between 2,8 and 5,5 bar).

The MOD-PRO plant are composed of:- 4 or 6 osmotic membranes;- Pressure gauge for inlet pressure meter;- Needle valve for the concentrate;- John Guest fittings 1/2”;- n.1 valve non-return valve for the permeate;

The MOD-PRO produces water into a storage tank (not included ) afterwards is suggested:

- For installations with network pressure > 2,8 bar, using a solenoid valve ½” for the inlet, an electric float for the permeate storage tank and a controller;

Or

- For installations with network pressure < 2,8 bar or with raw water storage tank, using a solenoid valve ½” for the inlet, a booster pump, an electric float for the permeate storage tank and a controller;

The permeate flow rate depends on raw water salinity, pressure and temperature.

Filmtec Dow membranes

Membranes made in USA with NSF/ANSI standard 58 certificate*. Dry packaged.

Membranes made of Toray/dry textile, certified NSF/ANSI standard 58. It is available in models 1812 with 75 GPD, 100 GPD and 150 GPD and also in the greater version 3012 with 300 GPD.

Membranes made in USA (California) built with Filmtec textile by one of the most important membranes producer all over the world. Certificate* NSF/ANSI standard 58 and D.M. 174/04 for Italian market.

Ultra-filtration is able to hold particle with diameter between 0,001 and 0,05 μm. It remove impurity with a corpuscular characteristic such as suspended matter, colloids, microorganisms and bacteria. It is also used: for reverse osmosis pre-treatment in order to ensure more durability or as post-treatment in order to ensure the microbiological quality of the water. The ultra-filtration membrane UF10Q does not produce concentrate (100% permeate), and it is easily mountable on pre-existing plants thanks to IN/OUT 1/4” connections.

Work pressure: min 0,3 bar, max 4 bar.Filtration degree: from 0,005 to 0,1 microns.
