The adventures of Daisy and Star…A story by Zara Pendsay

A long, long time ago on a faraway island called Oceana there lived a dolphin called Daisy. One day Daisy and her friend Star the seahorse were happily playing when the ocean turned black. “What is happening ?’’ said Star. “I don’t know” said Daisy. “Let’s go to the surface and see” said Star. “Good idea” said Daisy.

When Daisy and Star reached the surface there was nothing there. “Where has it gone?” said Star. “I don’t know” said Daisy. “Let’s go and see” said Star. “Okay” said Daisy so off they went. When Daisy and Star got there they found what was making the sea dark. “It’s just night time” said Star. “Oh yes” said Daisy so they went back down to tell the others.
