The Traffic and Road Safety (Speed of Motor Vehicle) (Exemption)Order, 2007.

(Under section 175 of the Traffic and Road Safety Act, Cap 361).

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred upon the Minister responsible forworks and transport by section 175 of the Traffic and Road Safety Act,this Order is made this 31st day of January, 2007.

1. TitleThis Order may be cited as the Traffic and Road Safety (Speed of MotorVehicle) (Exemption) Order, 2007.

2. ExemptionA person who drives a motor vehicle and who competes in the SMCChallenges Rally, organised by the Federation of Motor Sports Club ofUganda, commencing on the 24th February, 2007 and ending on the25th February, 2007 is exempted from the provisions of section 120 ofthe Traffic and Road Safety Act, for the duration of that rally.

The Electoral Commission (Appointment of Date of Completion ofUpdate of Voters’ Register in Bududa District) Instrument, 2007.

Under Section 19(8)(c) of the Electoral Commission Act,Cap 140.

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred upon the Electoral Commission bysection 19(8)(c) of the Electoral Commission Act, Cap 140, thisInstrument is made this 21st day of February, 2007.

1. Title.This Instrument may be cited as the Electoral Commission(Appointment of Date of Completion of Update of Voters’ Register inBududa District) Instrument, 2007.

2. Appointment of date of completion.The 23rd day of February, 2007, is hereby appointed as the date upon whichthe Commission shall complete the exercise of updating the Voters’ Registerfor purposes of the by-election in Bududa District.

3. No application accepted after appointed date.For purposes of paragraph 2 of this Instrument, after the appointed date,no application form from Bududa District shall be accepted by theElectoral Commission, seeking—

(a) to register as a voter; or

(b) to transfer to a new voting location.
