On this walking wine tour of Il Soffio Sulle Eolie, take in the sights of Vulcano Island. You’ll be surrounded by Malvasia grapes and views of the sea from the winery terrace. Afterward, hop on a van to explore the most ancient church and lighthouse of the island and walk along the coast. Make the last stop memorable by taking a dip in the island’s black Sulphur beach. Please note the following: the water/mud has a very strong sulfurous odor. Patrons are encouraged to bring an older swimsuit as the mud may stain and the smell is almost impossible to remove. We also recommend bringing a change of clothes along with a plastic bag for your muddy swimsuit.

Our first stop is at the Norman Castle in the town of Milazzo, followed by a stroll through the natural reserve of Capo Milazzo. Following the walking tour, we will make a pit stop at a local Sicilian hamburger place for lunch.

Please remember to bring a swimsuit, plenty of water, snacks and a packed lunch. If needed, hiking backpacks can be rented from Community Recreation.
