Attendance Policy (Very Important!)
Before entering the classroom, scan your student ID card andverify on the screen that your attendance has been recorded.
If you do not scan your ID, you are recorded as absent.
More than 6 absences will result in an automatic F grade.
During the first two weeks of the semester and exam weeks, youwill be recorded as attended.
Keeping an accurate, up-to-date attendance record is yourresponsibility. Check your attendance record regularly at UNISTportal, and report any inaccuracy immediately.
You will be assigned a seat for both lecture and recitationclasses, and your attendance will be checked during class. If you arenot present in the classroom, you will be considered absent.You may go to bathroom during class, but at your own risk.

Discussion session is not a self-study session! You are welcome toread lecture materials, but the goal of the discussion session is tolearn by verbal communication: exchanging ideas, expressing yourthoughts logically, asking/answering questions, and learning fromeach other. So be active and engage in the discussion!
The solutions for the discussion problems are posted on Blackboardon Friday. You are strongly recommended to study the solutionscarefully. You can learn a lot just by studying the solutions, and it isan excellent way of preparing for exams!
