Installation GuideDuct clipping should be started from cutting the protection casing with a knife or scissors. After drawing apart, the duct should be cut along the internal spiral, and then split up with combination pliers. Once pulled onto a fitting or an air diffuser, the duct should be fastened with a TKS tightening band, and then the outer casing is to be wrapped up in aluminiumtape.
About the System
About the SystemThe flexible ducts serve as a complement to ventilation ductwork. They are used for joining a series of rigid sheet metal ducts air valves or plenum boxes. They are also used for distribution of warm air from the ventilation cap and in heat recovery systems.
Dimensions The ducts are suited for greater dimensions of the round components to make their installation easier. When completely stretched, the ducts are 3.5 or 10m long.
Benefits of UseDue to their flexibility, the ducts can be deployed in hardly accessible places of the building and when it is difficult to plan how to connect boxes to the suspended ceiling. With 10-metre sections you can save time, as you do not have to work with short sections, and 120cm large cartons make their handling and storage quite easy. With its 25mm thick mineral wool insulation and a perforated tube inside, the duct also serves as a silencer.

The COMBIFLEX flexible duct is made of multilayer aluminium, tightly covered with non-flammable 110 micron PVC jacket. It’s construction is reinforced with spiral steel spring wire. No vapour condensation is an advantage of this type of ducts. Moreover the COMBIFLEX duct can be cleaned easily, is resi-stant to chemicals and UV radiation. The COMBIFLEX flexible ducts are recommended for venti-lation and air-conditioning systems as well as for heating installations.
