ExecutiveSummary

Objective

EurAsiaManagementproposesaninnovative,self-sufficienthousingandservicesdevelopmentfor low-incomefamilies, localadministrationor temporaryhousingbasedonthearchitecturalsolutions,involvingmodularcontainers.Thecontainerhousesallowacomplexapproachtothelivingenvironmentwiththegoalofreducingmonthlyrents,food,electricity,heatingandcoolingcosts.

Using containers as a base for development was an ideal answer for flexibility andmultipleadaptationsneedsofmodernhousing.Thepossibilitiestoorganizeandrearrangeeachpartoftheplanaccordingtothelocalrequestarecountless,decorationscanbeadaptedindividuallyandaddedaccordingtotherequirements.Theprimaryelementstaysthesame,however,theresultscanbeasvariousasthecreativityofthearchitects.

Itisoneofthemostpolyvalentstructuresinmodernconstructionsystems.

Goals

1. To build a high-quality, low-cost, environmentally friendly, multi-usage buildings withaffordablemonthlycost

2. To provide sustainable rental or administrative space for the community, which willimprovebothsociallifeandsecurity

AlternativeSolutions

Mostoflow-incomehousing,temporaryhousesorservicescenters,areassociatedwithcheapandunfriendlystructures,lackingelegantandpleasantfinishing.

Containerhousescanchangethisimageandassurequalitylifeforthousandsofpeople.Theyareusedforbuildingdormitoriesforcollegestudents,officespacesforstart-ups,summerhouses,vacationvillages,smallmedicalcentersoreducationalcenters,hostelsandevenprisons.

Addingextra insulation,we can lower theheat andair-conditioningneeds.Providingexteriorpatios,railings,stairs,wecanofferniceandvaluablelifespace.

Theneedforlow-costhousingisgrowingextrapotentiallyinmanycountries.Thesocialrequestfor affordable housing is growing as well. Due to the fact that a container is shaped as arectangularcube,it isveryeasytotransformit intoanydesirablemodelandadoptasizeofahouse.

Anaveragecostofabasiccontainershouldnotexceed40-50$persq.ft.,howeverthecompletestructure, with electrical installation, windows and doors, plumbing, appliances units in thekitchenandbathroom,canamountthesq.ft.priceupto100$.Incaseextradecorationswouldbeadded,personalizedarrangements,designsandimprovements;thecostshouldbecalculatedindividually and depends on the extend of added structure and materials chosen for itsconstruction.

Eveninthiscase,thecostofbuilding,comparingtothetraditionalconstructionmethods,wouldbecutbyhalf.

Itisanimportantfigureinourcontainerhousesproposalplan.Theindividualbeautyofthehousedepends on the added elements; however, the cost of the main body is so low that theindividualizationofadesignmakesitabsolutelypossibletocreateapersonalizedandagreeablelook.

It isnotonlyrecommendedbutalsoaffordabletoarrangethesingularhousemadeofseveralcontainersinaninnovativeway.Dependingonthefinalusageofsuchstructure,itispossibletoconstruct much bigger buildings from the main container base. It is all in the innovativemodularityofthedesign.

Asummerhouseandatemporaryhouse,officespaceandsmallshop,allofthemcanbeadaptedandstructured,accordingtoanydesireandoriginalideas.

Weusuallysuggestinvestinginsolarpanelselectricitysupply,whichlowersthecostoftheenergyconsumption at longer term and assures an environmentally friendly solution. It is especiallyrecommendedinthesouthernareasandpanelsononeroofcanprovidethewholeelectricityforthesmallhouse.Itmakesittotallyself-sufficient.

Colors, additional materials,wood,platforms,terracescanbeapartofthelookofthefinalbuilding.Thebeautyofthebasicelementisthatitcanbemodified,rearrangedandpreparedaccordingtoparticularexpectations.

Thesecondmodelofcontaineris40sq.ft.andcanbeusedasasolecontainerhouse.

Thebathroomarrangementisanexampleoffunctionality,thebathtubcanbesubstitutedwithashower.Wecandeliversuchacontainerhousewithallequipmentorsimplywiththeplumbingandelectricityin-builtstructure.Theownerhavingthechoiceofhisownarrangements.

Thecostisadequatelyhigheranddependsonthefinishingdesignanddecorationrequests.
