F. PRESENT RECREATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER INTERESTS

Though with out any formal qualification the under signed is conversant in many languages and possesses lively interest in studying history,linguistics,oriental knowledge andproblems related to humanity in general and that of education, environment & ecology, lingual & commmunal conflict and national integration in particular.

He has the track record of teaching Odia linguistics and grammar in PG/Honours classes for more than two decades/at IGNOU study center to eight batches, introducing Seminarhours at P.G. and Hons. level, making SOCIETY-INSTITUTE INTERFACE a reality and way of life, producing a Course of Study in Indian History for B.A. First year students,implementing six NEAC projects, experiencing review and production of adult and continuing education materials, contributing articles for preparation of SAMBAD SAHITYA KOSHA—an encyclopedia of the Odia Language and Literature, preparing entries for EVOLUTIONARY ODIA DICTIONARY, writting regular columns on Society, Culture and Literature in newspapers, being chief resource person to conduct courses on teaching English for Primary and Lower Secondary School teachers at district level along with active participation inhistorical occasssions e.g. Golden Jubilee Celebration of O.S.A, Gajapati Utsav, G.M. Utsav.

He has given innumerable interviews to OTV, ETV, NAXATRA, KAMYAB and other Print and Electronic Media on History, Culture, Society and matters of Public Interest and isasssociated with spread of general education in remote locations.

He is always desirous to be in the frontiers of knowledge and hence possesses knowledge of Computer Software and Hardware in the real sense. Presently he is silently workingfor digitisation of Odia language and inventing a scientific, aesthetic, rational and single Computer Key-board for regional languages of India utilising the cutting edge technologies. Theapplicant acknowledges the dearth of master pieces on History of Literature, Scientific Philology and Lexicon as the basic problems of Odia speaking people and so determined andhopeful to do away with these during his life time. Everyday he is trying to be one step forward towards his much aspired goal. May in one day he be come up to his standards flyingand colorful.
