“Know ye that

the LORD He is

God: it is He

that hath made

us, and not we

ourselves; we are His people,

of His pasture.”

Psalms 100:3

Humanly speaking, there is no other influence in your

life more powerful than your

TEMPERAMENT or the COMBINATION OF TEMPERAMENTS.

Of or relating to a

vocation or

occupation; especially

providing or

undergoing training in

special skills

VOCATIONAL

TEMPERAMENT

APTITUDE

1.Your usual mood.

2.Excessive

emotionalism or

irritability and

excitability (especially

when displayed

openly).

Inbuilt ability

Temperament is the

combination of traits we

inherited from our parents.

This basic nature

that we have all

inherited from

our parents is

called several

things in the

Bible, such as:

Etc.

• Extrovert

A sociable person who is lively and

outgoing. (psychology) a

person concerned more with

practical realities than with inner thoughts and

feelings.

The BORN SPEAKER • Extrovert

SANGUINE Sparky Sanguine is a

warm, buoyant, lively and “enjoying” person.

Receptive by nature, external impressions

easily find their way to his heart, where they cause an outburst of response. Sanguine never lacks for

friends. He can genuinely feel the joys and sorrows of the

person he/she meets and has the capacity to make

such feel important.

3

• Extrovert

People have a way of excusing their

weaknesses by saying, “That’s just the ‘Way

he/she is.’”

SANGUINE

The BORN LEADER

• Extrovert

CHOLERIC Rocky Choleric is hot,

quick, active, practical, strong-willed, self-sufficient and very

independent. He tends to be decisive

and opinionated, finding it easy to make decisions

both for himself and other people.

They are extrovert like Sanguine but not nearly

so intense. They thrives on activity.

• Extrovert

They don’t need to be stimulated by their

environment, but rather stimulates with endless ideas, plans, goals and

ambitions. They find it difficult in engaging in aimless

activities for he has a practical, keen mind,

capable of making sound, instant decisions or

planning worthwhile projects.

CHOLERIC

• Extrovert

They take definite stand on issues and can be

found crusading against some social injustice or

subversive situation. Choleric is never

frightened by any form of adversities; in fact they

tend to encourage them. Many times they succeed

where others failed Their emotional nature is the least developed part

of their temperament.

CHOLERIC

The BORN THINKER

• Introvert

MELACHOLY These set of people are

the richest of all temperaments.

They are analytical, self-sacrificing, gifted and

perfectionist. No one gets more

enjoyment from the fine arts than the melancholy. By nature, they are prone

to be an introvert; but since his feelings

predominate, he is given to a variety of moods.

• Introvert

Sometimes, they will be lifted up of ecstasy that causes them to act more

extroverted. However, at other times, they will be gloomy and depressed,

during these periods they are withdrawn and can be quite antagonistic. Melancholy is a very

faithful mend, but unlike the Sanguine, they don’t make mends easily, they prefer people coming to them than going to them.

MELACHOLY

• Introvert

Their exceptional analytical ability causes

them to diagnose accurately the obstacles

and dangers of any project they have a part in planning. This makes them

totally different from Choleric, who rarely

anticipates problems or difficulties, but is confident with whatever crises may

arise.

Melancholy usually finds his greatest meaning in

life through personal sacrifice.

He seems desirous of making himself suffer and often choose a difficult life vocation involving great

personal sacrifice.

MELACHOLY

The

BORN PEACE-MAKER

• Introvert

PHLEGMATIC These are easy-going,

never-get-upset individual with such a high boiling point that they almost never becomes angry.

They are the easiest type of person to get along

with and is by nature the most likeable of all

temperaments. Life for them is a happy,

unexcited, pleasant experience in which he

avoids as much involvement as possible.

• Introvert

They have a very capable combination of abilities. He feels more emotion

than appears on the surface and appreciates

the fine arts and the beautiful things of life.

Usually, they avoid violence.

They don’t lack friends, because they enjoy people and have a

natural, dry sense of humor.

PHLEGMATIC

5

• Introvert

They maintain positive approach to life.

They have a good, retentive mind and are capable of being a fine

imitator. They tend to be a spectator in life.

Phlegmatic and Choleric may confront the same social injustice but their

responses will be entirely different.

If you had to choose, which Biblical

character do you think you would have the

most in common with? Would it be Abraham- a great patriarch but

who was, at times, indecisive and

faithless? Or perhaps it is Moses, another great

leader but prone to anger and moodiness.

BIBLICAL

EXAMPLE OF SOME PEOPLE

BIBLICAL

EXAMPLE OF SOME PEOPLE

You may identify with Peter, a great talker

and charming but

erratic and often

spoke/acted without thinking. Maybe

Paul, a brilliant

scholar and missionary but often

unloving and

controlling, is the

character you equate yourself to.

BIBLICAL

EXAMPLE OF SOME PEOPLE

God gave us such

rich examples and

illustrations in

Scripture. I believe

that He gave us

examples of

believers who were

just like us and

were infused with

His power to do great things.

BIBLICAL

EXAMPLE OF SOME PEOPLE

This is not only a wonderful peek into their lives but a hope for what our lives could be like

when fully committed to

God.

The Good-

Peter was an

extrovert. He was

also impetuous,

loveable, and

others.

The Good- BIBLICAL

He was often weak-

insecure and fearful.

Peter's life was one of

extremes including

failures and

successes.

The Bad-

they are not given to
