The environmentally-friendly energy saving function of our shredders, the ZERO ENERGY standby mode, ensures automatic and complete power cut-off after 30 minutes.

EBA shredders are particularly safe and easy to operate. In this connection, the SPS (Safety Protection System) can certainly be seen as an important milestone. SPS features include, for example, a patented, electronically controlled safety flap in the feed opening; automatic reverse and power cut-off (avoids paper jams); automatic stop if the shred bin is full; electronic door protection; double motor protection against overheating.

Robust and durable: the cutting heads of EBA shredders are equipped with special hardened, solid steel cutting shafts. We grant a LIFETIME GUARANTEE of these high-quality cutting shafts under conditions of fair wear & tear (except fine cut, three phase and DINO models).

Sustainability has always played a major role in EBA’s corporate philosophy. Our environmentally friendly machines are made of materials which have been optimized for recycling and sustainably produced. All are naturally free of toxic substances (with environment management in accordance with ISO 14001).

EASY-SWITCH is the intuitive, multi-function control element developed especially for EBA paper shredders. The large, illuminated surface indicates the operational status of the shredder with color codes and back-lit symbols. It also provides an added degree of safety by functioning as an emergency stop switch.

Exceptional quality, reliability and innovative design are what our global customers expect of our products. All EBA shreddders (except the DINO models) are Made in Germany (a quality management system including all company areas was certified under the DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 standards).

We set new standards in terms of quality and efficiency through innovative technologies such as the patented ECC – Electronic Capacity Control: this electronic feature indicates the used sheet capacity during shredding process to avoid paper jams.

We offer professional assistance to handle any questions or technical problems. Moreover, we guarantee that even after a device has been discontinued, spare parts will remain available for at least 15 years (except DINO models).

The new DIN 66399 standard for the destruction of data carriers defines three protection classes, six material categories and seven security levels. Your data has to be classified by you and assigned to one of the three protection classes (internal, confidential, very confidential or secret data). The determined protection class defines the security levels appropriate for

your classified data. Most important for document shredders is the material category ”P“ with the security levels P-1 to P-7 for information in original size, for example on paper, films or printing plates. Recommended for data carriers with sensitive and confidential information. (For example particles 6 x 50 mm).

Recommended for data carriers with secret data in case extraordinarily high security precautions have to be respected. (For example particles 0.8 x 12 mm).

Recommended for data carriers with especially sensitive and confidential information. (For example particles 4 x 40 mm).

Recommended for data carriers with strictly confidential data in case the highest security precautions have to be respected. (For example particles 0.8 x 5 mm).
