MALAVIYA NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY JAIPUR
Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur (MNIT Jaipur) is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology in India, created as centers of excellence for higher training, research and development in science, engineering and technology. Established as Malaviya Regional Engineering College, Jaipur in 1963 jointly by the Government of India and Government of Rajasthan, the Institute was upgraded to Malaviya National Institute of Technology in 2002 by the Government of India and accorded status of a deemed university and subsequently declared as an “Institute of National Importance” under National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007. The Institute is an autonomous body, fully funded by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India.
The Institute currently offers eight (08) undergraduate programs, twenty four (24) postgraduate and doctoral programs in multiple disciplines of science, technology, humanities and management.
The Institute constitutes of 13 Academic Departments and 7 Centers of Excellence with an annual intake of over 800 students in its undergraduate programs and over 650 students in the postgraduate and research programs.
DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES (DMS) Department of Management Studies at MNIT Jaipur was established in 1996 as Centre of Management
Studies and Industrial Collaboration. The Department has been playing a seminal role in the growth of
corporate sector and management education in India since then. DMS groom future business leaders
by following a judicious blend of theory and practice, using highly innovative teaching pedagogy and is
proud that its alumni occupies the high positions in business echelons. The Department offers a regular
two year fulltime postgraduate degree in management (MBA) and a rigorous doctoral program (PhD in
Management) focused on research in business and managerial issues.
DOCTORAL CONCLAVE 2019 Department of Management Studies is organizing Doctoral Conclave 2019 during March 8-9, 2019.
The primary objective of this conclave is to provide a platform to the Research Scholars to interact,
share, enhance their knowledge and present their research proposals/ research papers. The conclave
aims to understand and share the state of management research among Doctoral Scholars.
SPECIAL FEATURES OF THE CONCLAVE
Workshop on how to publish in quality journals by Emerald author. One-to-one feedback on Research Proposal/Research Paper. An opportunity to network with researchers working in the area of your interest.
Special Lectures in each Track to understand the current research in respective area.
Publication opportunity in reputed International Journals (ABDC/SCOPUS Indexed).
Best Paper Award in each Track.
CALL FOR PAPERS/PROPOSALS We invite Research Scholars to submit their research work under two categories:
(a) Doctoral Proposal Category: This category is open to scholars who are currently pursuing or
have completed their course work and are in stage of research proposal development. The aim is to
invite scholars to present their research problem and get feedback from peer and experts.
(b) Doctoral Thesis Paper Category: This category is open to all Research Scholars who wish to
present their research work (theoretical/literature review/empirical/case based studies). The aim is to
present their research work and get feedback from experts.
We invite original (un-published) research proposals/ research papers falling under following tracks for
presentation in conclave.
Track I - Marketing, Business Strategy Track II - Finance and Accounting Track III - Human Resource Management
Track IV - Operations Management Track V - General Management
PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Kindly refer to the following guidelines before submitting your manuscript/proposal. All papers should be
submitted in the prescribed format.
Cover page: Each paper should have a cover page which includes title of the paper, abstract
(not more than 200 words), author names and affiliations with full postal address, email and
mobile number.
Doctoral Proposal Track: Introduction, followed by literature review, Research Questions,
Research gaps, Objectives, Hypothesis, Proposed Methodology, Expected contribution to the
literature.
Doctoral Thesis Paper Track: Introduction, followed by literature review, Research gaps,
Objectives, Hypothesis, methodology, interpretation of results, conclusion and policy or
managerial implications.

TIME AND VENUE
The Doctoral Conclave 2019 will be conducted during March 8-9, 2019 at Department of Management
Studies, MNIT Jaipur [Rajasthan, INDIA].
REGISTRATION PROCESS Interested participants can register by paying ONLINE registration fees and filling the online registration
form available on the institute website latest by February 20, 2019.
REGISTRATION FEES Registration fees is payable in form of ONLINE payment only [NEFT/IMPS/RTGS]. Registration fee includes participation to all the tracks, workshop on how to publish, study and reference material, morning and afternoon tea, lunch, a copy of the group photograph of all participants and a participation certificate.

ACCOMMODATION AND TRAVEL Accommodation on twin sharing basis within the campus is available in the Institute Guest House for outstation candidates. Participants are requested to contact in advance if they wish to avail boarding and lodging facilities within the campus.
