EXT.FX SHOT.

A beautiful blue planet, hanging in the sky. A few

small islands are dotted far apart from each other

around the planet. Its Rings slowly drifting around

it. Suddenly CAMERA, pans down through the planet.

Down and Down and Down, through the planets

atmosphere and into...

INT. OFFICE.DAY

DOCTOR RATNYAKA, human, is sitting by a large desk.

The walls and ceiling surrounding him are made ofglass. Like one big giant bubble. Behind the glass is

the ocean. GIANT JELLYFISH slowly bob around in the

water. DOCTOR RATNYAKA looks at some PAPERS.

DOCTOR RATNYAKA

But thats impossible... 15 inches of exoglass and

they still manage to get in!

CAMERA reveals the paper he is holding to be a

newspaper cutting: THIRD DEATH ON ENJONGIA PROMPTS

DETECTIVE INVESTIGATION.

DOCTOR RATNYAKA puts down the cutting sighs and

stands up. He calls to someone.

DOCTOR RATNYAKA

VERA! To me, I need you to see this...

From the door, VERA appears, humanoid, slim, but her

body is completely purple...

VERA

Doctor Ratnyaka?

She walks over, He looks at her,

DOCTOR RATNYAKA

Vera, look at these readings...

He hands over various bits of paper; VERA scans the

papers and looks up, her eyes wide

DOCTOR RATNYAANow tell me this whole incident is a hoax.

VERA opens her mouth to speak when suddenly, the

lights flash, not out, but brighter... As if a big

lightning strike had filled the room.

VERA

Doctor what was that?

DOCTOR RATNYAKA is speechless.

VERA

But sir, what it said in all our research. The

rumours are true,

DOCTOR RATNYAKA picks up a small tattered book.

Another Flash, He quickly skips through the pages,

until he finds what he is looking for, CAMERA on the

page, some words. DOCTOR RATNYAKA reads them out. Asense of panic in his voice.

DOCTOR RATNYAKA

When the lights begin to flash, you know youre not

alone. When the lights begin to flash youd better

run. For when the lights begin to flash, youll be

dead before you know it.

VERA and DOCTOR RATNYAKA look at each other in

horror, the lights are flashing more frequent now. In

the breaks between the flashes, VERA looks towards

the wall where a crack is appearing.

VERA

Doctor Ratnyaka?

The GIANT JELLYFISH face the crack, as if they are

gleeful that the wall is going to smash. VERA and

DOCTOR RATNYAKA both stare at the wall...It smashes,VERA screams at the top of her voice as the JELLYFISH

come crashing down on her. As water engulfs the room,

the JELLYFISH laugh.

CUT TO TITLES

INT.TARDIS INTERIOR.

The TARDIS console is whirring and spinning away. THE

DOCTOR and AMY standing around it, talking.

THE DOCTOR

So, Cleopatra...or...Civil War...

AMY looks blankly at THE DOCTOR.

THE DOCTOR

Im thinking no votes for the Civil War then?

AMY still silent, no words coming out

THE DOCTOR

What is it you want?

AMY

O.K, call me a killjoy but, Ive kind of had enough

of all this danger and excitement thing. Its like

one giant Clich here with you, I want a holiday.

Somewhere relaxing. You never took me to Rio after

the whole Silurian stuff...

THE DOCTOR looks horrified

THE DOCTOR

What? Thats stupid, why would you want a holiday?

AMY

Because you numpty Im Human. Im not sure about Time

Lords, but most Humans get tired of their everyday

lives and just want a break. You know, to relax.

THE DOCTOR still looks unconvinced. But, he gives in.

THE DOCTOR

O.K, but were going where I choose.

AMY

Which is where?

THE DOCTOR

Youll see. The trouble about you Amy is that you

always ask questions.

He races around the TARDIS console, pushing buttons

and pulling levers.

AMY

Shut up.

THE DOCTOR ignores AMY and carries on pressing

buttons. Until the familiar scream of the TARDIS

engines start.

THE DOCTOR

And...Were...Off!

EX.FXSHOT.

THE TARDIS spins into view, in front of it a BLUE

PLANET, various rings encircling it. THE TARDIS doors

open and out pops the heads of AMY and THE DOCTOR.

THE DOCTOR

So Amy, what do you think that is?

AMY

A Planet?

THE DOCTOR

Well, yes, but...look at it, Amy... This planet is

the most talked about planet in all the cosmos. This

is the planet of Enjongia, the biggest aquarium in

all the solar systems. Oh, this planet is home to all

kinds of species. The moon sharks of Saturn.Jokonoch. Even Star Whales, they live in the sky of

course but still. If its fishy its here! Never

heard of it?

AMY

Nope! Shows how much I get out then doesnt it?

THE DOCTOR

Yes, it does.

AMY

Oi! Ever heard the term rhetorical question?

THE DOCTOR ignores her yet again.

THE DOCTOR

So, Amy. Fancy a look?

INT.TOURISM SUITE. DAY.

The TOURISM SUITE. A beautiful reception room.

Modern, with sofas and chairs dotted around the room.

A long desk at one end, a door at the other. One

whole wall is completely made of glass. Big shark

like creatures swimming along. Suddenly, THE TARDIS

materializes into a corner of the room. AMY stepsout. AMY sees the shark-like creatures through the

glass, sequels and runs to the glass.

AMY

Cool, Space sharks!

The doctorstrides out the TARDIS; he notices AMY and

walks up to her.

THE DOCTOR

Now, Amy. Dont be rude.

A tall woman enters the suite, ALEXIS, Female, Human.

She stares at THE DOCTOR and AMY.

ALEXIS

Um... sorry to keep you waiting. Are you here to buy

tickets.

THE DOCTOR is about to say something, when AMY gets

there before him.

AMY

Yeah, we were. Actually were members of theparliament of... Mars. So we were told we could get

in for free... werent we Doctor!

AMY nudges THE DOCTOR, indicating the small wallet in

THE DOCTORs pocket.

THE DOCTOR

Yes. Yes, we were

He takes out the PSYCIC PAPAER and holds it up to

ALEXIS

ALEXIS

I see. Well then, if youd like to go through those

doors. You should have access to the main breeding

points. Enjoy your visit!

She indicates the door. Smiles, and heads off behind

the desk. THE DOCTOR and AMY walk through the doors.

INT.DEPATURE SUITE.DAY

A huge room, all hustle and bustle, various different

species all walking in different directions. Arranged

around the room in a big triangle are different

pillars of light. Not too big. Just enough to fit

three or four people in. AMY watches as a group of

people stand in one of these pillars and disappears.

THE DOCTOR

Far range Teleports, whizz tourists off to different

points of the planet, see. Different breeds or

species grow in different areas. Its like on Earth.

THE DOCTOR and AMY, move to the centre of the room

where a big holographic map of the planet is.

AMY

And this is a map of the whole thing, yeah?

THE DOCTOR

Exactly. Now lets see... where havent I beenbefore.

He studies the map carefully.

THE DOCTOR

Ah! There we are. Ive been meaning to go there.

Never got around to it.

AMY

Where are we going?

THE DOCTOR

The Valley Of Aqodeen.

He gives AMY a big grin.

INT.AQOUDIAN CHAPEL.DAY.

A TV screen. On the TV screen is the fuzzy image ofthe DEPARTURE SUITE, Its a CCTV screen .THE DOCTOR

and AMY can be seen someone watching. Its SELLY,

Female, Human. She calls into a WALKIE-TALKIE

SELLY

Yes, we have someone. But they should know the

Valleys out of bounds. Were gonna have to shut the

teleport down. They cant come here. If tourists find

out about whats happened this whole planets gonna be

mortified. Over.

INT.DEPARTURE SUITE.DAY.

THE DOCTOR and AMY stand in the light alone, no-one

else.

THE DOCTOR

Im surprised were the only people going. The ValleyOf Aqodeens supposed to be Enjongias most popular

exhibit. Its home to a severly endangered race. The

Jokonoch. Or to you more known as Space Jellyfish

AMYO.K, well...lets get off then. Its already nearly

noon. Lets Hurry up Before these Joko-whatsits all

die.

THE DOCTOR flicks a button, on a control panel next

to the pillar. They disappear.

INT.FX SHOT.

THE DOCTOR and AMY are zooming along a blur of colour

and light. THE DOCTOR screaming. AMY whooping with

enjoyment. And then...

INT.FEEDING TUNNEL.DAY.

The colours stop. THE DOCTOR and AMY are thrown

foreword and land on their backs in some sort of

corridor. A sign above reads: JOKONOCH FEEDING TUNEL,

A group of equipments bundled up in one of thecorridors sides. The whole floor, glass. With Giant

Jellyfish swimming beneath them, JOKONOCH.

AMY

That felt a bit short. I was enjoying that!

THE DOCTORs not listening. He has his screwdriver

out and is inspecting the walls.

THE DOCTOR

Yeah, It was. Were not there yet. Someones shut

down the teleport system. And we seem to have ended

up in a feeding tunnel

There are instructions on the wall. THE DOCTOR reads

them.

Instructions for feeding Tunnels: AT 11:00 ALL

FEEDING TUNNELS ARE TO BE DISINFECTED FROM ANY

HARMFUL GERMS TO THE FISH. AT 12:00, THE JOKONOCHMUST BE AUTOMATICALLY FED FROM THE CONTROL ROOM. IT

IS IMPORTANT TO BE IN THE CONTROL ROOM AT THIS POINT,

AS THIS POINT. FOR THE FOOD FOR THE JOKONOCH ARE

STORED IN THE FEEDING TUNNELS. AND THE FEEDING

TUNNELS AUTOMATICALLY OPEN SO THE FISH CAN EAT. THE

FISH DO EAT HUMANS.

THE DOCTOR

Oh, thats bad...

AMY

What?

THE DOCTOR

Were in this feeding tunnel, right?

AMY

Right?

THE DOCTOR

And its now 12.00?

AMY

Just about, yeah!

THE DOCTOR

So, its feeding time...This is the feeding tunnel

AMY looks at THE DOCTOR in horror, she realises what

he means.

AMY

Well, weve got to get out! Quick!

AMY starts frantically running about. Shes

panicking.

AMY

I dont want to be eaten by giant Jellyfish!

Suddenly lights start flashing, lightning like,

filling the room with

white light.

AMY

Doctor, what was that?

THE DOCTOR

I dont know. Could be a warning of some kind. Or

something more deadly...

Suddenly the ground begins to shake. And the glass

floor begins to move.

Letting the water gush into the tunnel. AMY screams,

shes terrified.

THE DOCTOR

GERONIMOOOOO!

INT.JOKONOCH TANK.DAY.

AMY and THE DOCTOR are panicking in the water.

JOKONOCH swimming slowly toward them. AMY tries to

scream., but the water drowns out the sound. THE

DOCTOR and AMY (still holding their breath) swim as

fast as they can away from THE JOKONOCH. Until they

hit a glass wall. Through it, they can see SELLY

staring at them, safe in a viewing deck. Shes

horrified.As the JOKONOCH nearly reach THE DOCTOR and AMY, AMY

is almost to the point of suffocation, and she

indicates herself and THE DOCTOR to. SELLY, (through

the glass). THE JOKONOCH are just about to touch THE

DOCTOR, just when another flash of light happens,

When SELLY presses a button on a control panel she is

holding. THE DOCTOR and AMY disappear.

INT.PRESIDENTIAL VIEWING DECK.DAY.

A comfortable room Glass walls surround the area,

Jokonoch behind it. Empty, except for SELLY. Who is

sitting on an armchair facing a sofa. Waiting.

Then... AMY and THE DOCTOR appear. Soaking wet. They

are sitting opposite SELLY on the sofa. Who has the

control panel in her hand.

SELLY

Humite! It locks on to your basic humanoid life

forms! We have it here in case the tourists get stuck

in the tanks.

AMY ignores SELLY. She turns to THE DOCTOR. She

looks angry.

AMY

Im drenched. Im freezing and I nearly got eaten by

Space Jellyfish. Not really my idea of a relaxing

holiday eh Doctor?

THE DOCTOR

Well, technically speaking youre not freezing. The

temperature of that water levels at more or less 1

degrees Celsius which is just above freezing.

AMY is speechless. She hates it when THE DOCTOR

teases her.

SELLY

First things first. Who are you two and where did youcome from?

THE DOCTOR

No,I think the first question ought to be, Why did

you almost let us be fed to that pack of Jokonoch?

THE DOCTOR indicates behind him. Where JOKONOCH are

swimming.

SELLY

O.K, I think we may have got off to a rocky start.

Its not our fault. The Valley of Aqodeen has been

out of bounds since Tuesday, so you shouldnt have

been coming here anyway, the feeding is an automatic

process, we cant stop it. And anyway why are you

having a go at me. If it wasnt for me youd be dead!

THE DOCTOR

No...Fair point. But, if this valley was out of

bounds this week, then why was the teleport system up

and running?

SELLYBecause, we have scientists coming from all over the

solar system coming here. To investigate something.

THE DOCTOR

And what is it theyre investigating?

SELLY sighs

SELLY

Somethings happened. Something horrible. These

Scientists are our only hope...

AMY butts in.

AMY

Well thats us!

THE DOCTOR looks at AMY in surprise,

SELLY

What?

AMY

The Doctor and Amy Pond! Were scientists from Earth.

THE DOCTOR mouths: WE ARE?, AMY nods vigorously.

THE DOCTOR

Yes, we are. And we thought wed come and investigate

SELLY

Earth? I dont think we called for anyone there to

help us...

THE DOCTOR

No, you didnt. But news gets around fast. And Amy

and I just thought that wed have a look round

ourselves.

SELLYWell, if you are scientists then we could use you.

The Labs just through here. Follow me.

SELLY walks through a door at the end of the room.

THE DOCTOR and AMY look at each other.

AMY

Doctor she said that something horrible had happened.

THE DOCTOR

I know. Somethings fishy around here.

AMY rolls her eyes.

THE DOCTOR

And were not leaving until we find out what...

They both head off behind the door.

INT.VALLEY LAB.DAY

A large laboratory, No glass walls. Various worktops

with sinks and power cables running along it.

Different people standing around different desks, all

wearing lab coats. SELLY beckons for THE DOCTOR and

AMY to follow her. SELLY is chatting away to

PROFFESOR OBERON. Old, quite short, purple skinned.

He holds out his hand to THE DOCTOR, who happily

shakes it. OBERON offers AMY a hand shake. But she

declines. AMY turns to THE DOCTOR

AMY

Doctor, hes purple.

THE DOCTOR

Amy, again with the rudeness! Everyone whos native

to this planet is purple. Its as normal as humans

having a nose. Sorry about Amy, shes from Earth

not very big imaginations. They find it hard to

accept things.

OBERON ignores this.

OBERON

My name is Professor Oberon

AMY

Nice name bit Shakespeare.

OBERON looks confused

OBERON

Im sorry who?

AMY

Shakespeare

OBERON

Shakespeare?

AMY

Oh, never mind...

AMY shakes OBERONS hand.

AMY

Nice to meet you!

OBERON walks over to the centre of the room. THE

DOCTOR and AMY follow. SELLY walks with AMY.

SELLY

My Father is head of Physics here in Enjongia.

AMY

Hes your father is he? Thats nice. Get to work with

your dad! But how come your not...

SELLY

Purple! Im a cross-species. My mother was human. I

got her genes.

OBERONLadies and Gentlemen, if I could have your attention

just for a moment.

The SCIENTISTS in the room all turn to look at

OBERON.

OBERON

These are our new scientists from...

OBERON looks at AMY and THE DOCTOR

AMY

Earth!

OBERON

Yes, from Earth. The Doctor and Miss Amy Pond! I

trust you to make them welcome here. Back to work!

All the SCIENTISTS start working again. AMY walksaround the lab greeting everyone while THE DOCTOR

talks to OBERON.

THE DOCTOR

So, Oberon. What exactly are you working on?

OBERON looks puzzled.

OBERON

Why, you should know! Selly here tells me you came

here by yourself to investigate this.

THE DOCTOR

Well, had a glass of Vodka or two. Never knew how

strong that stuff really is!

OBERON

Yes, quite. Alright. Were investigating the bodies

recently found here in the Valley.

THE DOCTOR

Bodies! Now thats interesting.

OBERONBut, its funny. All of the victims seem to be human,

or at least, humanoid. The bodies were all found

amongst ruins of the buildings As if the threat were

dealing with destroyed the buildings as well.

We found each of the Victims with all moisture

drained from their bodies. This is one of the

Jokonoch killing techniques other than the more

common sting of course. But, the Jokonoch came from

the planet gorgeon, they lived and interacted with

humanoids every day, they wouldnt dream of hurting

the tourists.

THE DOCTOR catches on. Speaks before OBERON gets the

chance to.

THE DOCTOR

So someone or something is controlling the Jokonoch!

OBERONExactly!

Beat.

THE DOCTOR

Oberon, this is very important. We just might be able

to find the threat if I take a look at the victims,

Have you got any bodies here, in the research lab.

OBERON

Well. In the preservation centre we do...

THE DOCTOR

Could you take me there?

OBERON

Well, I see no reason why not.

THE DOCTOR

Then what are doing stuck in a boring old lab. Lets

go and have a bit of fun!

THE DOCTOR starts to walk out of the lab. AMY,

meanwhile, is chatting to SELLY

OBERON

Wrong way Doctor!

OBERON indicates a small staircase leading to a lower

level. THE DOCTOR heads for AMY.

THE DOCTOR

Amy, coming?

AMY

Where?

THE DOCTOR

The preservation centre...were going to have a poke

at dead bodies.

AMY looks disgusted.

AMY

Eurgh! But, yeah, Ill come.

THE DOCTOR and AMY head off after OBERON. Who has

disappeared below the staircase?

INT.PRESERVATION CENTRE.DAY

A powdery white room. Like some sort of operation

theatre. Big light in the centre of the room. No

windows. Sort of Claustrophobic. Various tables are

scattered around the room, with large white sheets

over what seems to be DEAD BODIES. THE DOCTOR, AMY,

and OBERON emerge from a staircase in a corner of the

room.

OBERON

Weve had to rebuild this place twice with

exoshields inserted in the walls so the Jokonoch

cant get in. They keep trying to steal the bodies!

As you can see, the dead bodies are all kept here.

THE DOCTOR stands by one of the tables. He indicates

the cloth

THE DOCTOR

Can I...?

OBERON

Oh, go ahead.

THE DOCTOR lifts the sheet to reveal the DEAD BODY of

DOCTOR RATNYAKA. But its impossible to recognise

him. His body, shrivelled up and bony. A sort of

Brownish Grey colour. A horrific sight.

AMY

Oh My God! Thats a dead body. Thats horrible.

OBERON

That, was Doctor Ratnyaka, head of ichthyology hereat Enjongia.

AMY

Whats ichthyology?

THE DOCTOR

The study of Fish. Oberon, mind if I take a look?

THE DOCTOR takes out a metal knife from his pocket.

OBERON nods in confirmation. THE DOCTOR cuts open the

body. Its blood pours out. But its mouldy, lumps of

greenish blue blood.

AMY

I think Im gonna be sick

THE DOCTOR

Shhh Amy, Im working...this blood is old. Very old,

do you know when this person was killed?

OBERON

Only yesterday. Him and his assistant, Vera, found

dead in the ruins of his office.

THE DOCTOR dips his finger in the blood and licks it.He winces in disgust.

THE DOCTOR

That is disgusting.... but helpful... its been at

least 500 years since this blood has stopped

travelling around the body.

OBERON

Well what does that mean?

THE DOCTOR

Somethings been speeding up Doctor Ratnyakas body

clock. But for what...think...think...

Suddenly, A SCIENTIST appears from the top of the

stairs. She is panicking. She frantically runs

towards OBERON.

SCIENTISTProfessor! Its horrible sir. Its happened again!

OBERON

Calm down woman...whats happened?

SCIENTIST

Its Selly professor. She went down the underwater

elevator to collect some research we sent off to the

scanner, but, when we called for her she never

replied.

She indicates a walkie talkie in her hand.

SCIENTIST

So Annah went to the elevator to find her and,

well...its gone. The whole elevator ripped off out

of the building. We cant get a reading from Selly.We think shes been killed.

THE SCIENTIST starts to weep quietly. OBERON is

speechless, and then...he plucks up the courage to

talk

OBERON

There there, Ellae, Its fine. Its alright

He hugs ELLAE. Who leaves, in tears. Then, turns to

THE DOCTOR.

OBERON

How could this have happened? Selly! My Daughter...

And OBERON cant hold it in. He begins to cry.

OBERON

And her body will be lost forever... theres no way

down there now the elevators gone.

THE DOCTOR and AMY stare solemnly.

AMY

Doctor, isnt there anything we can do?

THE DOCTOR

Im not sure.

AMY

We have to do something. Look at him doctor!

OBERON is just standing there, weeping. THE DOCTOR

looks. Painfully. He is reminded of something...

THE DOCTOR

Right, thats it. Im not going to have you stand

there and cry. We are going to go down in the waters,

find Sellys body, find whats causing these murders.

And we are going to destroy whatever it is, off the

face of the universe!

OBERON and AMY stares at THE DOCTOR.

OBERON

Doctor, we cant. Its much too dangerous. The

Jokonoch arent themselves. They could kill you.

THE DOCTOR

Maybe. But I need to get down there anyway.

Whatevers controlling these things is down at the

bottom of the Valley. And the only way to stop this

is if we go down there and find it.

AMY

But Doctor we dont know that...

THE DOCTOR

Oh dont we? Think ...Amy...Think... Back in that

feeding tunnel. What did that sign say?

CUT TO:

INT.FEEDING TUNNEL.DAY

CAMERA close up on the sign: AT 11:00 ALL FEEDING

TUNNELS ARE TO BE DISINFECTED FROM ANY HARMFUL GERMS

TO THE FISH. AT 12:00, THE JOKONOCH MUST BE

AUTOMATICALLY FED FROM THE CONTROL ROOM. IT IS

IMPORTANT TO BE IN THE CONTROL ROOM AT THIS POINT, AS

THIS POINT. FOR THE FOOD FOR THE JOKONOCH ARE STORED

IN THE FEEDING TUNNELS. AND THE FEEDING TUNNELS

AUTOMATICALLY OPEN SO THE FISH CAN EAT. THE FISH DO

EAT HUMANS.

CUT BACK TO:

INT. PRESERVATION CENTRE.DAY

AMY, looking confused at THE DOCTOR. She doesnt

remember

THE DOCTOR

It said that the fish eat humans.

Now, my screwdriver here tells me that this blood is

at 1 degree Celsius. And that is the temperature of

the ocean here in the Valley. Am I right?

OBERON

Why yes! Actually you are!

THE DOCTOR turns serious.

THE DOCTOR

You said that the Jokonoch kept trying to steal the

bodies.

So, I conclude. The Jokonoch are basically cooking

the bodies, by speeding up their their body clocks.

Until theyre the right temperature. Then, they steal

the bodies from here so they can have a good old

feast at the bottom of the ocean floor!

AMY looks horrified.

AMY

Seriously! Jellyfish are eating humans. Thats just

sick!

OBERON

Doctor, if youre right. We need to go there and get

Selly. Im not having those Jellyfish eat her!

THE DOCTOR nods, hes far away...thinking...suddenly

he grins at AMY and OBERON.

THE DOCTOR

Right then, Amy, Obe-Ron-Kenobi! Lets get diving.

CUT TO:

EXT.VIEWING PLATFORM. DAY.

A large decking. 5 foot down is the ocean. A small

ladder winding down into the water. In front, the

open atmosphere. A burnt pink sky. Star Whales gently

drifting through the sky. Singing softly. . THEDOCTOR, AMY, and OBERON. Enter. All with diving suits

on. Helmets by their sides. AMY and THE DOCTOR

chatting.

AMY

Obe-Ron-Kenobi?

THE DOCTOR

Yes!

AMY

I just knew you were into Star Wars...

OBERON interrupts the two.

OBEBRON

Doctor, Miss Pond... good news and bad news. Weve

installed microphones and speakers in the helmets

so we can communicate once were under.

AMY

What about the Oxygen supply?

OBERON

Im afraid thats the bad news. We cant getsufficient levels of Oxygen needed to fit the

amount of time we need. Once were under, we can

only have 30 minutes until we run out.

AMY

But what if we run out before we get there?

OBERON

Well, well die!

Everyone just stands there. Staring at each other,

knowing of the challenge theyve got ahead of

them. They know its not going to be easy.

Suddenly, THE DOCTOR breaks the silence

THE DOCTOR

Im fine, really. We need to do this, for Oberon.

THE DOCTOR smiles at AMY. AMY grins back.

AMY

Were going intergalactic diving!

THE DOCTOR

I know!

AMY starts to brighten up. THE DOCTOR turns to OBERON

THE DOCTOR

So professor! Anything extra we need to know?

OBERON

Yeah, whatever you do, stay away from the Jokonoch,

even if they arent under control. Even if they

wont suck the moisture from you, they can still

sting you. Intentionally or unintentionally, and

their stings are fatal.

THE DOCTOR

Cool Beans. Well, actually its not cool beans, but

there you go.

THE DOCTOR puts on his helmet, walks to the edge, andjumps into the water. Big Splash. Then, a pause.

Soon, AMY runs up to the edge. Big Jump...shes

strangely enjoying this.

AMY

TALLEYHO!!

A big Splash and shes under too. OBERON looks at the

pink sun. Slowly setting behind the picture-esque

mountain tops. A slight breeze runs through his

thinning hair.

OBERON

Soon, Selly, Im coming to find you...

He glances. Still for a second. Then...he walks

to the edge. Small jump and...

CUT TO:

INT.OCEAN TANK.DUSK

A wide open blue space. A few rocky structures here

and there. But there are no plants. THE DOCTOR,

OBERON and AMY are looking about, getting used tothierh surroundings.

AMY

Doctor, I can hardly see anything. Its just blue.

With a few rocks. Which way do we go?

OBERON

The ruins will be down at the ocean floor. Through

the valley gorge. Its a mile down though, so

itll take us a while...

AMY looks confused.

AMY

But, the water pressure will blow our heads off. We

wont survive.

THE DOCTOR looks at AMY.

As if its obvious

Its a differnt planet Amy. And its probably at

least 200,000 years in your future. Its pretty

likley that the diving suits will have

precautions against water pressure. I mean, thisis an aquarium.

AMY mutters under her breath.

AMY

I was only asking.

THE DOCTOR hears her. Looks stunned. But decides to

ignore her. He quickley changes the subject.

THE DOCTOR

Well... its time we get going.

He looks at his watch which he wrapped around his

diving suit.

THE DOCTOR

Its been a minuite. Every second not swimming is a

second wasted, come on.

THE DOCTOR starts swimming downwards. OBERON looks

towards AMY. He talks with a slight annoyance in

his voice

OBERON

Is he always like this... acting like hes boss.

AMY looks at him. Suspiciosly. She doesnt like

him...

She just turns and swims to catch up with THE DOCTOR.

OBERON sighs, and follows.

. Far down at the bottom of the sea bed. Dark, andmysterious.

POV: an UNKOWN CREATURE, staring up from the bottom.

Faintly, we see THE DOCTOR, AMY, and OBERON.

Small specks, slowly moving high above. Something

laughs. A cold, quiet, creepy laugh

UNKOWN CREATURE

Ha! Theyre coming to find me.They want to get me for

the things Ive done. But I can see...oh... One

of these people wont make it. The Bravest... ha!

The one who thinks hell survive. The One whos

Seen danger many a time. Theyll not find me.

Not if I can help it. CALLING ALL JOKONOCH.

LOCATE THE INVADERS. FIND THEM...AND DISPOSE OF

THEM!

CUT TO:

Back to THE DOCTOR, AMY and OBERON. Swimming. Not

saying a word. They dont want to waste time.All

focused.

Then a small, Bang. Not too loud. But loud enoough so

that you could hear it through a helmet. THE

DOCTOR and AMY jerk up. OBERON is still

swimming.He hasnt noticed. AMY turns to THE

DOCTOR, but she keeps swimming.

AMY

Doctor, what was that?

THE DOCTOR

I dont know. But it was coming from below.

AMY

The Jokonoch?

Maybe. Look Amy, I need you to follow this

instruction cause its very important. If

whatever down there gets me or Oberon, you have

to get out. If anything happens to any of us.Just get out. It could be too much to handle on

your own.

BEAT

AMY

Oh, come on Doctor, Ill be fine. And nothings gonna

happen!

THE DOCTOR

I wouldnt be so sure...

And then a big flash! Its starting.

AMY

Doctor the flash! The Jokonoch are coming!

THE DOCTOR

O.K now it starts. Oberon, hurry up!

OBERON is laggin behind. THE DOCTOR and AMY stop.

OBERON reaches them.

THE DOCTOR

Right, Oberon, we need you to defend yourself. The

Jokonoch will be here soon.

OBERON

What? Why?

Another flash! OBERON jumps

OBERON

What is that flashing?

THE DOCTOR

Its the Jokonoch. Somehow whenever theyre about to

kill, it just happens.

From down below, a big group of JOKONOCH appear.

Headng towards THE DOCTOR, AMY and OBERON. Heading

closer and closer

THE DOCTOR

Alright, not much we can do,Ive left my screwdriver

up on the surface, so were just gonna have to dodge

them.

OBERON

OH no we dont!

AMY and THE DOCTOR look at OBERON. He is holding a

small PISTOL.

OBERON

I kept this in the suit pockets. Just incase of

attack. If they get near me ill blow em up.

THE DOCTOR

NO! Oberon, thats not the way we do things, put the

gun down.

THE JOKONOCH are just getting nearer and nearer, but

THE DOCTOR doesnt realise, as he turns to speak with

OBERON. Another flash.

AMY

Doctor?

THE DOCTOR holds up a finger, geusturing AMY to be

quite. He doesnt look at her, still looking at

OBERON

THE DOCTOR

Wait Amy... look. Violence is not how we resort to

things. I know your angry that your daughter died. I

can relate. So did mine. My whole species.

While THE DOCTOR is speaking, OBERON is getting more

and more angry, Flashes are coming and going at

terrific rate, now. And OBERON cant hold it in anylonger.

Oh, cant you just shut up! With your pep talks, when

you really just want to impress me!

THE DOCTOR

...I was only trying to help...

OBERON

OH! And look at him now, When someones inferior to

him hes speechless.

While OBERON speaks, A Jokonoch creeps up behind him.

THE DOCTOR sees, yet stays calm. He just waits. And

then...

THE DOCTOR

Oberon, just one thing. All this time, youve been

Rabbiting on. What you havent realised is, is that

theres a Jokonoch behind you...

And OBERON turns around. He screams! As one big flash

happens he gets stung. OBERON falls down through the

water into the unkown. THE JOKONOCH slowly drift

away. As if theyve got what they were looking for.

THE DOCTOR and AMY are still. Shocked, they look at

eachother... then...

AMY

Well... I didnt like him much anyway... I guess its

just you and me now.

THE DOCTOR still doesnt talk. Hes hurt at what

OBERON said to him.

THE DOCTOR

Lets carry on.

They keep on swimming.

INT.ABYSS LAIR.NIGHT

A huge. Rocky cave like the size of a cathedral. An

underwater shrine. Musky sea bed covered with dull

seaweed. What looks like a gigantic rock, buried into

the ground, is sprerad accros a section of it. Its

big. At least the size of a tennis court.

OBERON falls down and hits the seabed. Bubbles fly

out evreywhere. He opens his eyes.

OBERON

Im alive! How can I be alive? Those Jokonoch stung

me!

A subtle bang! OBERON jerks up.

OBERONWhat now?

OBERON listens, but nothing...

OBERON

Nothing...how odd. Id better try and find Selly. Im

at the bottom of the sea, so she should be somewhere

nearby.

Another bang! OBERON definetly hears it ths time.

OBERON

Alright! I know someones there. Show yourself!

No answer. OBERON tries to make what ever made the

noise symaptise with him.

OBERON

Ive lost my daughter, she could be dead...plese,show yourself.

Suddennly, a rasping, hissing female voice is heard.

The voice of the UNKOWN CREATURE.

UNKOWN CREATURE

Oh, alright, then Im the one who killed Selly! Who

killed evreyone here!And if its Selly you came to

find, then thats easy.

And suddenly, the frail body of SELLY is teleported

next to OBERON.

OBERON gasps!

OBERON

Selly! SELLY!

OBERON touches his daughters face. Tears in his eyes.

OBERON

How? Why did you do this?

UNKOWN CREATURE

All in good time. Now. I havent just summoned you to

have a nice chat, oh no!

The UNKNOWN CREATURE giggles, slyly.

UNKOWN CREATURE

I need you to help me with my plan.

OBERON, slightly reluctantly, asks a question.

OBERON

And what plan might that be?

UNKOWN CREATURE

Again, all in good time. Now im going to reveal

myself to you. Try not to scream.

And the large rock-like thing starts to move. CAMERA

behind the figure. The UNKOWN CREATURE, gets bigger

and bigger and bigger...

OBERON screams.

CUT TO:

INT.GORGE.NIGHT

The blue darkens, and the rock walls form a large

gorge. THE DOCTOR and AMY are swimming towards it.

THE DOCTOR

Amy, were at the gorge.

AMY

Yes, doctor, I can see that.

THE DOCTOR

Right. But I stand by what I said. If I get hurt,

leave

He Checks his watch

THE DOCTOR

We have 10 minuites to do this. And I cant have you

getting hurt. I need to keep you safe.

AMY

Whatever, come on.

She pulls his arm and they start swimming into the

gorge. The water gets darker. Untill its just black.

AMY

Doctor, its so dark down here.

THE DOCTOR

Oh! Im prepared. Here, I brought a gravity globe.

And...there!

THE DOCTOR takes out a GRAVITY GLOBE. He taps it a

couple of times and it lights up. He lets it hang inthe water. The light reveals that the gorge has been

carved into a giant cavern. Right on the floor, at

the centre of the seabed. Far below, is SELLY, just

lying there. Alone.

AMYDoctor, its Selly!

THE DOCTOR

We need to get her, quickly. Even if her fathers

dead, we should bring her back to the surface...

THE DOCTOR and AMY swim far down so theyre by SELLY.

THE DOCTOR

Amy, if you should get her back up. I dont feel

comfortable here. Somthings not right.

AMY nodds, she doesnt feel comfortable either.

AMY

Yeah

AMY is just about to take SELLY when OBERON appears

from a large crack in the rock face.

OBERON

NO!! Leave Selly alone.

THE DOCTOR

Oberon!

AMY is annoyed. She shouts out, sarcastcally.

AMY

Oh great! Hes alive!

OBERON hears. But merley takes it as a funny joke.

OBERON

Thank you for your observation Miss Pond.

in the water, I realised just how impossible it is

I rest my case. But, I no longer require any of your

help. I can bring Selly back to life. With the person

on Doctor. Come and see my new friend.

AMY

New friend. Id like to see that! Go on then, show us

your new friend

OBERON indicates the large crack from where he came.AMY suddenly looks scared. She remembers something.

OBERON

Shes in there.

AMY

Doctor is that...?

THE DOCTOR knows what shes talking about. He

interrupts her.

THE DOCTOR

I dont think so, we wiped it out. It couldnt

possibly be here.

OBERON

What in gods name are you on about? My mistress is

through here.

AMY laughs.

OHHHH! So shes not your friend. Shes your mistress

youre her servant!

Suddenly, the UNKOWN CREATURES voice is heard from

inside that crack.

UNKOWN CREATURE

Doctor?

THE DOCTOR instantly turns round. He knows that

voice.

THE DOCTOR

It cant be.

AMY

Who is it?

THE DOCTOR

That voice sounds like Queen Maryae.

AMYAnd whos that?

THE DOCTOR

I should have known.

Queen Maryae, Amy, Queen Maryae is the Queen of the

Jokonoch. The first member of the Jokonoch species.

She was broadcast all over the universe when you

humans invaded their planet. Some big news report on

the peace between the Jokonoch and the humans

Shes lived for thousands of years. Some say shes

immortal... I visited her planet once. I fought her,

then, the only one of her kind. When we came here I

thought her race must have got better. Maybe become

nobler. More, respectable. But no. There just as

SHABBY AS EVER!

AMY

But why would she be doing this. I mean, I thoughtthe humans and the Jokonoch got on.

They did. So we need to find out why The Jokonoch are

killing people.

OBERON looks at THE DOCTOR and AMY. Before he gets a

chance to speak. QUEEN MARYAE beckons from within the

crack.

QUEEN MARYAE

Oh Good-o! You recognise me. As I recognise you, from

the forgotten age of Desabae, do you remember. Those

stars, you put them out. One by one. You left me out

in the cold of the horse head nebula. I nearly died.

But then, I never die. And I never will.

THE DOCTOR stares in horror. AMY looks at him, shes

never seen him this scared before.

THE DOCTOR

Thats it, I need to take a look at this queen.

And he swims through the crack. AMY goes after him

INT.ABYSS LAIR.NIGT

THE DOCTOR and AMY enter. OBERON follows after them,

slowly. THE DOCTOR stares up at QUEEN MARYAE.

A Huge jellyfish. (Almost as big as the rocky cavern.

At least the size of a double Decker bus) in which

she is in. And yet, despite her size she looks

frail. Shrivelled up, and slumped against the rock

walls.

THE DOCTOR

Oh..! Changed a bit since I saw you last! Bit

smaller, bit older. More fragile.

AMY stares up too. She is in awe!

her?

THE DOCTOR

Amy, this person ordered the murder of Selly. Of all

the people who died here. I cant just go and help

her without doing something.

THE DOCTOR heads for QUEEN MARYAE.

Right then Queenie, before we get started on the

consequences, what turned you to killing? This is a

whole planet teaming with the human race.

A Marvellous, brilliant species. And you were killing

them. What for? What was the point?

QUEEN MARYAE

We are an endangered species, Doctor.

THE DOCTOR

Yeah, got that bit from the leaflet thanks. But

whats that got to do with it?

QUEEN MARYAE

And who do you think made us endangered?

THE DOCTOR

You tell me!

QUEEN MARYAE sighs a deep sigh.

QUEEN MARYAE

Doctor, when the humans came to our world. They shot

us. They hunted us down.

THE DOCTOR

Hmmm, Its no surprise who wrote them then!

THE DOCTOR looks at Amy.

Theyre doing this for revenge. We invaded their

world. We killed some of them. They probably hate

being here in this aquarium. Being stared at, time

and time again. Like a Zoo. It must be torture.

AMY pauses, she thinks. She can almost sympathise the

queen.

AMY

Now theyve come to give us a taste of their own

medicine.

QUEEN MARYAE

Oh, you chose this one well. She can work things out.

Empathise. She could be of use to us. Come over here,

girl. You dont want to be with that doctor over

there. Come and help me, and I can show you all of

the universe

AMY

Um...no thanks. Ive got that already

She glances at THE DOCTOR

But, one thing I dont get though. Why were you

eating the humans? What was that for?

QUEEN MARYAE

Oh, thats all part of our plan

THE DOCTOR interrupts

THE DOCTOR

What plan?

QUEEN MARYAE

Well, oh alright, Ill tell you.

Im not feeding the Jokonoch; Im replacing their

blood with the human blood from the bodies. If the

Jokonoch pass as humanoids to the basic security

system, then we have access to the planets emergency

advances. One of which is Detonation. Were planning

on blowing up the planet. I have set a delta field

around myself. I will fly safely through the

explosion. Not even scratched.

AMY and THE DOCTOR look at each other in shock.

THE DOCTOR

You what? Destroy that planet. No... Not while Im

around. Because you see. Thats what I do... if you

remember, I save planets. And Im not gonna let my

record of a lifetime be broken. Not today. You hear

me out. This planet is not gonna change today. Its

going to sit in the sky. As stunning as ever. With or

without the Jokonoch on it.

AMY

Whens this destroy the planet thing due to happen?

QUEEN MARYAE

But I really dont want to spoil you for the big

show!

Oh, go on then. Probably in about... two minutes.

THE DOCTOR looks up in horror

QUEEN MARYAE

Yes, Doctor. As we speak, The Jokonoch are advancing

to the security system. You cant exactly stop me.

And if you try. Oberon will stop you.

OBERON speaks up

THE DOCTOR

Oberon stops this! She wont save Selly. No one can

bring the dead back to life. Just hope over to Amy

and I. Maryaes not safe.

OBERONBut Doctor, If I transfer my blood to the Jokonoch,

like she asked me, Queen Maryae promises Selly and I

the defeat of Olympia.

THE DOCTOR stares at OBERON.

THE DOCTOR

What? Olympia!? Thats not real. Its just one of

those things parents make up to scare the children.

QUEEN MARYAE intrudes.

QUEEN MARYAE

But you dont know, do you! You havent yet been

there! Oh, Doctor, you have yet to stare hell in the

eye. Olympia is real. It is coming. The secrets that

which do lie in the garden of eternity will be

unlocked. And you and Miss Pond had better be ready.

THE DOCTOR just looks ahead. Towards QUEEN MARYAE

hes worried. And then...

THE DOCTOR

Shhh! Did you hear that Amy, did you hear that?

AMY

OBERON

Yeah I heard it.

QUEEN MARYAE

What? I didnt hear a thing...

THE DOCTOR stands thinking for a minute. He works it

out!

THE DOCTOR

Oh No!

AMYWhat?

THE DOCTOR

All the time weve been stuck down here. Weve both

forgotten one very important thing

AMY

Whats that?

THE DOCTOR

That noise. Its the sound the oxygen tube makes when

it starts to run out of air...

AMY is horrified. She starts panicking, yet again.

AMY

What? Well.. Were gonna die! Lets get out.

OBERON

I am not dying today. Sorry your majesty, but, I have

to save myself.

AMY

Never mind about you. Doctor weve got to go.

THE DOCTOR

Amy, you go up. Im a time Lord. We can hold our

breaths for five minutes longer than humans.

AMY looks at THE DOCTOR angrily. But she knows that

he needs to stay there. She swims out of the cavern.

OBERON follows.

CUT TO:

INT. TRENCH.NIGHT

AMY and OBERON shoot up out of the trench. AMY in

front. OBERON lagging behind.

CUT TO:

INT.ABBYS LAIR.NIGHTTHE DOCTOR is left alone with QUEEN MARYAE, as he

talks. He struggles to breathe more and more.

THE DOCTOR

So... Whats with the flashing lights then? Ive

never seen that sort of warning when Jokonoch kill.

Where did that come from?

QUEEN MARYAE

We dont know. After we were stolen from our planet

and taken here. We were given the gift of the flash.

It was none of our concern to ask where it came from.

It is not our technology.

THE DOCTOR looks concerned.

BEAT

THE DOCTOR

Right. Anyway, Im gonna have to give you one chance

to save yourself. Please. Stop!

QUEEN MARYAE

And just why would I want to do that?The humans killed us. And when we were taken to this

planet we knew we had to do something. This is our

only chance to set things right. Our only chance to

avenge our lost ones.

THE DOCTOR is touched. He looks sympathetically at

QUEEN MARYAE. He shakes his head, back on track.

THE DOCTOR

No! If youre not gonna end this then Ill have to.

CUT TO:

INT.OCEAN TANK.NIGHT

AMY and OBERON are swimming faster than ever now. AMY

has run out of air. Her face turning pale blue. She

knows shes gonna die

CUT TO:

INT.ABYYS LAIR.NIGHT

QUEEN MARYAE

And just how will you do that?

THE DOCTOR thinks. He is almost stuck. Then...

A large bang! And then a holographic video screen

pops out in the water. Slowly bobbing. On it, the

JOKONOCH are floating beside a large control panel.

Various wires hanging out in different places. A

small compartment, like a sealed door, is slap bang

in the centre. QUEEN MARYAE smiles.

QUEEN MARYAE

You see, doctor. The Jokonoch just need to open the

compartment pod. And they will have access to thedetonation settings. In about one minute, this planet

will be no more. So I repeat. How will you save the

day?

THE DOCTOR

I know how. Theres always been a way. But I neverthought it would come to this.

THE DOCTOR looks solemn. He knows what he has to do.

CUT TO:


AMY nearly suffocating, OBERON behind her. Theyre

both so close. So Very close to the surface. Nearly

there. And...

CUT TO:

EXT. VIEWING PLATFORM.DAY

AMYs head reaches the surface. She pops up. Gasping

for breath. She whips off her helmet and takes in a

breath of air. She slowly calms down and waits forOBERON. Nothing. AMY looks worried. She dives back

down, no helmet.

CUT TO:


AMY sees OBERON. Slowly drifting down. Hes not made

it.

AMY doesnt want to do this. But she knows she has

to. She grabs OBERONs body and brings him up with

him. To the surface

INT.ABYYS LAIR.NIGHT

THE DOCTOR

I cant save them. The Jokonoch are nearly there, Iwont have enough time to stop them.

And so, this planet will burn!

THE DOCTORYeah... but, what is that large looking button on the

side of this cave.

THE DOCTOR points to a large button, imprinted on it

are the words DELTA FIELD.

QUEEN MARYAE

Thats nothing. Dont touch that.

THE DOCTOR

Queen Maryae. If that says the words Delta field I

think its very likely that that is the button that

turns on and off the delta field which you said would

protect you from the explosion. What do you think I

would do if I was standing next to that button?

QUEEN MARYAELet me guess. Turn it off.

THE DOCTOR

Precisely, and oh, look! I am standing right next to

the button. Im really, very sorry. Maryae. But, you

too are going to die. Along with the whole of this

planet.

QUEEN MARYAE is in horror! She realises her mistake.

QUEEN MARYAE

No...

CUT TO:

EXT.VIEWING PLATFORM.NIGHT

OBERONs body lies flat against on the floor of theviewing platform. AMY who has the diving suit off-

THE DOCTOR slams his fist down on the button.

He looks up at Queen Maryae. He knows she wont have

time to turn the button back on. He looks at his

watch.

THE DOCTOR

Thirty seconds. Theres just one thing left to do.

THE DOCTOR puts his finger to a speaker implanted in

his helmet.

CUT TO:

INT. VALLEY LAB.NIGHT

SCIENTISTS are working. All hustle and bustle. AMYruns in. She runs up to ELLAE

AMY

Do you know where I can find the Emergency advances?

ELLAE opens her mouth but a sound interrupts.

Its THE DOCTORS voice, OOV. Hes warning them of

something.

THE DOCTOR

Alright, Amy, I know you can hear me, and I need you

to do something. I cant stop the Jokonoch; theyre

too far away for me to do anything. But, Ive turned

off the queens delta field. She wont be protected.

AMY is anticipating. She knows in the back of her

mind what THE DOCTORs going to say.

THE DOCTOR

This planet is going to go. In about twenty seconds.

So um basically. Brace yourselves.

THE DOCTORs voice ends. AMY looks around in shock.

She isnt ready.

AMY

Right. EVREYONE HOLD ONTO SOMETHING. Were going

up...

The Scientists all grab onto something. They arent

ready either. AMY is standing next to ELLAE. She is

crying.

AMY

Its O.K, You might not die. Well go through this

together, eh?

ELLAE looks up at AMY. Scared.

ELLAEIts not that.

I know who you are. Amy Pond. I saw you in the garden

of Eternity. What are you? How could you do that to

us...?

AMY looks at ELLAE. Frightened.

BEAT

Then, AMY turns away from ELLAE and speaks up.

Ready?

And then...

The beautiful Blue Planet which is hanging in the sky

suddenly explodes. Masses of rock fly all over. Water

shoots everywhere,

Suddenly. AMY is drifting slowly around. Scarred.Bruised. Her face is half burned. Blacky brownish.

But she is still alive. She is searching for the

TARDIS. Or THE DOCTOR.

Far off, THE DOCTOR is drifting too. He has a few

scratches. On his face. The glass from his helmet

shattered. But, hes more or less unharmed. He looks

around him. At all the destruction he caused. Tears

in his eyes.

And then... he sees the TARDIS. Dented. Paint worn

out to reveal a brownish colour. It looks burnt and

mistreated.

THE DOCTOR gives a sad smile. And he drifts in the

direction of his machine. He opens the door and

clambers into it.

CUT TO:


THE DOCTOR slams the door shut. He walks over to the

TARDIS console. Soaking wet. He turns on the engine

and fiddles with the controls on the console.

CUT TO:

EXT.FX SHOT.

AMY still drifting. Looking around at all the

screaming. She sees OBERON floating. Dead. She looks

painfully at him. He wasnt nice to her. But he

didnt deserve to die.

Then, THE TARDIS spins into view. Amy gives a smile.

But it hurts her face. So she stops.

THE TARDIS doors open. And THE DOCTOR stands there.

Looking at AMY sadly.

AMY makes her way to the TARDIS and climbs in. Sheshuts the doors.

CUT TO:


THE DOCTOR gives AMY a big hug. A tear runs down

AMYs face. THE DOCTOR looks at her.

THE DOCTOR

We need to get you cleaned up...

AMY smiles. THE DOCTOR runs up the stairs and out of

sight.

CUT TO:

INT.TARDIS CUPBOARD.

A small circular cupboard. Large roundels encircle

the room, A small green first aid box lies on the

floor amidst other clutter.

THE DOCTOR enters. Grabs the box and leaves.

CUT TO:


THE DOCTOR runs back to AMY with the green box.

THE DOCTOR

I knew I had this somewhere. Should fix up things a

little.

And he opens up the green box. Hordes of small yellow

dots, like fireflies spread out around the room. They

are NANOGENES.

THE DOCTOR

Nanogenes! For so Small, robots, which can mend any

damaged cell in anybody in the universe. Go on then.

Attend to her.

THE NANOGENES fly to AMY. And cover her face. A fewseconds later she emerges. As good as new.

AMY

Thank you.

AMY still has tears in her eyes. She goes to theTARDIS and opens the door. Outside. Bodies float

around, dead. Surviving star whales sing whislt A

couple of survivors scream for help.

AMY

But why didnt you know. I mean, youve been here

before. You know your history. So why didnt you know

this planet would be destroyed.

THE DOCTOR

Time can be rewritten. This timeline wasnt fixed.

Anything could happen...

AMY looks out. She sees QUEEN MARYAE lying on a slab

of rock. Dying.

AMY

Doctor look!

THE DOCTOR runs to the door and sees QUEEN MARYAE.

Slight compassion in his eyes.

AMY

Doctor she could just about fit in here. You said

you have a swimming pool. Couldnt we help her and

keep her there...

THE DOCTOR nods. He shouts to QUEEN MARYAE

THE DOCTOR

Maryae. I can save you. You want to live, just hop in

here. You can live your life again. A new Jokonoch.

QUEEN MARYAE laughs a slow. Painful laugh.

QUEEN MARYAE

And why would I want to come with you?

Doctor, I am dying. Leave me to it. And as you go

frolicking about the universe just think about us.

The race you killed. Our species will go down in

books. And those books will talk of how a travelling

doctor made us extinct.You say you save planets, doctor. But what of this

one? You could have saved it. You should have. And if

you look out. Youll see all those races, burning

because of you. All because he couldnt save that

planet.

THE DOCTOR is getting angry. He feels very guilty of

what he let happen. As QUEEN MARYAE finally stills

for the last time. AMY shuts the door for him.

AMY

Dont listen to her. It wasnt possible to save them.

Everyone makes mistakes.

THE DOCTOR

Yeah, but I still let it happen. If Id of just been

earlier, I might have had a chance...

THE DOCTOR leans against the TARDIS console. AMY sits

on the car seat.

AMY

Doctor, you cant let it get to you.

THE DOCTOR just looks at AMY, he is very sad.

AMY

Not meaning to change the subject, but back in the

science lab. That scientist. Said she knew who I was.

She said something about a garden of Eternity...

And back in that cave. Queen Maryae said something

about Olympia, doctor what did she mean? Whats

Olympia

THE DOCTOR knows. But he doesnt want to say.

THE DOCTOR

I dont know.

And he walks around the console, slams down a lever.

CUT TO:

INT.FX SHOT.

Amongst the lumps of rock that was once Enjongia. The

TARDIS is floating. Whilst it dematerialises. The

Nanogenes twist around it. Fixing it. Once gone.

The CAMERA pans out. To show the scale of the

explosion. All these lumps of rock floating around.

Hoards of different fish dying. Other tourists

drifting, dead. Star Whales singing a sad song of

despair.

As the song continues QUEEN MARYAE OOV. narrates

the final lines.

QUEEN MARYAE

And so, The Doctor carried on. Not daring to look

back. But all who died here, hope that he hangs hishead in shame. For his battle is not yet won.

Olympia is coming. And we all know what that will

bring, death upon the whole of the universe.
