DOBINSONS MRR SUSPENSION

Dobinsons Spring & Suspension (Dandenong store), installed the new Monotube Remote Reservoir (MRR) shock absorbers and heavy-duty coils onto my 2009 Nissan Patrol. The first trip with the new setup was along Border Track in South Australia back in August 2015. Straight out of the box the new suspension performed well above expectations. The harsh corrugations and deep flowing humps and bumps the desert sand tracks of outback Australia served up to us would put any suspension to the test.Three days of harsh punishing track conditions saw the MRR shock absorbers stand up exceptionally well, with no drop in performance

at all.

From the initial Border Track trip the MRR shock absorbers have travelled the sandy beaches of Moreton Island in southeast Queensland and continually been tested on endless tracks around the Victorian High Country.The Victorian High Country possesses some of the harshest four wheel drive track conditions you will encounter anywhere in Australia.Suspension flex is crucial for any form of off-road driving, and even more so on the steep, rocky and rutted tracks throughout the entire Victorian High Country.

At the end of the day, its how your suspension performs that keeps your tyres on the ground and the amount of wheel travel and suspension flex delivered by the Dobinsons MRR suspension setup is truly outstanding.I am out four wheel driving on a regular basis and enjoy putting the Dobinsons MRR suspension to the test in all sorts of track conditions. I am extremely happy with the ride and handling both off road and on the black top.So, if you are asking yourself the question of which suspension you should install on your 4WD, when there are so many options on the market, then perhaps this recommendation will steer you in the right direction.The Monotube Remote Reservoir shock absorbers and heavy duty coils I have on my Patrol by far make up the best performing suspension I have ever used.
