Implemented county-wide fleet card for gas, saving money and increasing fiscal accountability. Teleconferencing saves hundreds of hours of commuting time, saving money, gas and vehicle wear and tear. High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area grant: $21,003,797.00 HIDTA investigates major drug and money laundering investigations in South Florida, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Sheriff Peryam is the Chair of the South Florida HIDTA Board Note: MCSO receives between 1.5% to 2.0% in administrative fees from this grant.
