Hang up and Drive! The Harris Poll conducted an online survey of 2085 U.S. adults about cell phone use while driving. Over half (56%) of those who responded said that it is dangerous or very dangerous for someone to use a cell phone while driving. One survey question asked, “How often do you talk on a cell phone while you are driving?” Respondents could choose from the options “Always”, “Sometimes”, or “Never”. The bar graph shows the percent who chose “always” or “sometimes” by U.S. region.
