What is a CSR?

Corporate Social Responsibility plans outline the mission, goals and strategic initiatives of a company as they relate to the community,

including employees, customers, investors, competitors, partners and the world at large.

CSR is about being good while doing good.

Why doyou need a CSR? !   Because it is good business. Splunk CSR key wins:

!  CSRs vary by company, but traditionally they are made up facets such as:

Competitors !  Relations with Shareholders and Investors !  Management of Company's Assets and Information

Traditional can be cool… !   There are important initiatives companies typicially choosee:

!   HR policies on: Corporate giving, Employee giving matching, PTO for volunteer work, etc.

!   Facilities policies on: Green building programs, etc.

!   While we should loop these in to a comprehensive CSR, traditional is not the focus.
