Contents of this handbook

This manual describes how to install and use the Smart Meye program that allows remote management of the NVR DSE Series RN from

mobile devices and tablets. Smart Meye is available for Android OS and Apple iOS (iPhone, iPad).

Installing the program

The program for the management of the NVR series DN smartphone or tablet is called

SMART MEYE

E 'can download the version for Apple devices (iOS) directly from the Apple Store or the version for Android devices from Google Play.

Smart Meye is not available for other mobile operating systems now less used as Windows Mobile, Blackberry, Symbian etc.

There are a few different versions of the Smart Meye that have been released over time. For compatibility with older DVR / NVR all must

be kept available. This manual describes the Smart Meye Pro functions.

If you want you can also install other versions, all free and functioning, if you found suited to your needs.

Once the application is installed you will find available on your mobile device the program icon to launch it.

Starting the program

The Smart Meye program appears on your mobile device with this icon

Tap the icon to launch the app on the device.

This is the main interface of the program. Pressing the upper right button, you can split the screen into quadrants 1.4.9

Add NVR

The program will not be operational until you are entering the data of at least one NVR to connect.

To add an NVR press the down button on the left with the sign +

NAME - In the top box you can edit the name that will distinguish the NVR

IP - Input the IP address of the NVR. E 'can enter the internal IP address of the network if you want to connect to Wi-Fi or the internal

network IP address of the router from the WAN side to connect to the Internet through the cellular network (eg central). In the latter case

you have mapped appropriately in the 3G router port (6003) Factory as shown in the installation manual and is also advisable to have a

static IP address Internet. If you use a DDNS service such as DYNDNS you can enter the domain name that you were assigned.

If you want to use our service CLOUD free you can enter in the IP address box of the serial ID of the NVR. In this case to connect to the

NVR will not help either static IP address, or map the router ports, thanks to P2P technology. NOTE: In the first release was necessary to

follow the ID of the NVR, the name of the cloud domain (eg. M24537169.dddns.org) in newer versions simply the serial. PORT - Enter

the port for 3G which is set in the NVR (default: 6003) USER NAME - User name for access to the NVR, by default: admin PASSWORD -

Access Password, factory: leave blank

CHANNEL - Number of NVR channels. If you leave this option set to AUTO the program will automatically detect the number of the

access channels.

PUSH SET - Enable to receive notifications from the NVR in case of alarm.

For a quick configuration of NVR two additional commands are available to achieve with the rapidity link address.

LIVE Vision

To connect to the NVR NVR just tap the icon in the list of equipment. If the connection is successful it will appear over the icon of the

NVR many buttons as they are the channels of the connected NVR.

If it does not mean that the connection has not been successful and must check the availability of 3G data service and the settings in the

NVR.

At this point one must define the multivision screen mode that can be as already seen at 1, 4 or 9 panes. To start

the live view of a camera, select a frame so that it appears the orange border around it and then touch the button

corresponding to the channel you want to show in the box.

In the live view it is possible to move the cameras with dragging the finger from one pane, change the mode to multivision 1,4,9 panes

and also lead to full screen only one channel with a double-tap on the image.

In full-screen viewing it is possible to return to normal viewing with a double tap further.

TOOLBAR

Below the screen are the control buttons of application functions

CONTROL PTZ CAMERAS

If the connected camera is a motorized speed dome PTZ you can press the button to open the motorized camera

control panel containing buttons for moving, zoom, focus and aperture.

The PTZ control for speed dome are active only in the multiview mode 1 camera.

SOUND

If the connected camera is equipped with a microphone and optionally also of audio output with speaker it

is possible to activate the listening function (speaker) and possibly also the two-way dialogue

(microphone). E 'need to use headphones to avoid audio trigger.

REGISTRATION ON MOBILE DEVICE

During the live monitoring screen, you can highlight a camera and take pictures with the CAMERA button.

E 'can also start recording the real-time channel with the record button.

The photos are stored in the mobile device's memory in the FILE MANAGER folder in JPG format while movies are MP4 format. All files

are stored in folders by date and channel.

For quick search, playback and management of archived files exists FILE button in the section UTILITIES '

The application allows you to search and playback recordings stored in the NVR remotely connected.

Press the UTILITY 'button, then the SEARCH button

to access the playback environment.

Define the search criteria, namely the channels of interest, date of start / end time and the type of recording: GENERAL (all types)

MANUAL (continuous recording), MOTION (recording for motion detection) and SWITCH (from input recording alarm). Press the button

with the magnifying glass to start the search in the remote NVR. If the NVR are video files research will be successful.

Drag the purple bar to the time slot of interest.

Below you will find a timeline for each channel with blue recordings. Touch the recording in the timeline to start Remote Play.

remote Configurations

The UTILITIES of 'section contains additional controls that allow you to configure some options of NVR remotely. Press the UTILITY

button '

COLOR

The COLOR button changes for each channel the remote image adjustments. Not all cameras connected to the NVR manage this

function.

NETWORK

The network key is used to remotely change the network settings of NVR

SYSTEM

Allows you to remotely change the overwrite setting NVR (NVR will stop if the full disc or overwrite older files)

Notifications PUSH

RN series NVRs are able to send push notifications in real-time alarm to mobile devices. As a push notification means a warning

message that appears in the cell even if the SMART MEYE PRO application is not running.

Remember that sending notifications must also be enabled in the NVR as shown in the configuration manual

The settings of these notifications can be found on the second page of the UTILITY section 'Press the UTILITY button'

PUSH PLATFORM - Allows you to choose which service to use for sending notifications. Right now only BAIDU is usable. We should

keep the selection of the factory. ACCEPT PUSH - Slide the switch ON so to activate the push notifications feature

PUSH SET

The PUSH SET button allows you to define which channels and events is appreciated receiving notification. Press SAVE to send

the configuration to the server for notifications.

ALARM DETAIL

The button activates ALARM DETAIL query to the notification server and restoring the history of alarms that were the subject of push

notification.
