Do you know of anyone that participated in DanceMarathon? We are looking for our past Dance Marathon
Alumni! We would like to inform all of our past dedicated
committee members, morale captains, and dancers about
all the great events that we are doing for the children of
Miami Childrens Hospital. Please refer anyone you know
to send us his or her name, address, contact number,
current e-mail, and year along with position to
[email protected]. Also, if your information has
changed, please send your
current information to thee-mail address above.
If you have any great
photos of Dance Marathon
since the founding in
1997, we would like to
have a copy. Please send

This year, Dance Marathon
revealed its theme as the closing event forFIUs Week of Welcome. With the saying,
DM For the Kids & Beyond! this years
Dance Marathon hopes to bring out the
kid in everyone with the theme of Toy
Story 3. Dance Marathon will take place
from January 29-30, 2011 in FIUs
Recreation Center from Saturday 12 p.m.
until Sunday 1 p.m. This years, we would
like to surpass our total of $136,000 from
last years Dr. Seuss-themed Dance
Marathon.
As always, we will be hosting many
activities for all participants including our
line dance and all night blackout party.
We will also be hosting an Alumni Spirit
Hour on Sunday, January 30 from 11 a.m.

THIS YEARS THEME HOPES TO BRING OUT
THE KID IN YOU
to 12 p.m. where you will be our guest of
honor, so make sure you save the datesince we will love to see all of our alumni
there. You dont want to miss out on all
the great activities and silent auction
items we will have.

Florida Marlins Game
In July, the Dance Marathon

perform the line dance at a
Marlins game. Committee

the game.
