WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE DIVISION OF LIBRARY DEVELOPMENT AND
SERVICES?The Division of Library Development and
Services (DLDS) is the state library agency in Maryland.
DLDS administers federal and state funds to support Maryland libraries in their mission to offer outstanding resources, programs and
excellent customer service.
The two branches of DLDS include:
