From around the age of 10 years old Dan would spend a lot of his time playing with his dad’s equipment in the study. Also growing up, both Daniel and his brother would attend gigs of their father’s to aid in the set up and close of the event (plus a little dancing of course), which has helped form his wide knowledge of most genre through the generations. Fast-forwarding to the more recent times, Dan began to play music for his fellow pupils in classes towards the end of term time - using nothing other than a tape cassette deck and some pre-mixed/edited cassettes. At the age of 18 he started to play around on CDJ’s entertaining friends at his home and being responsible for the music at parties. From then, until his time in Dubai, he played his tunes and honed his skills at a number of private functions, parties and bars, both in the UK and Cyprus. Once in Dubai, however, Dan (Aka DJ 2 ), took to Disc Jockeying as a full time profession and his main source of income. Whilst in Dubai he worked a number of residencies on a weekly basis, whilst filling his spare time with weddings, corporate functions and one-off gigs in clubs and bars. This encouraged more diversity in his skill set, gaining him the knowledge of Arabic, Hindi and many other music varieties. In addition to the above, Dan has hosted a number of quiz nights, presentations/corporate-awards ceremonies and the like. That is to say, this guy is not just a DJ but has multifaceted expertise and an asset to any venue or business he would have the fortune of working within.
