Hello Everyone!
DCON is just around the corner and I can’t wait to see everyone there. I have a surprise for everyone going to DCON that you will get when you check in. Another reminder, please attend the March 16th DCM at Chiawana High School in Room C1038 at 3pm. I hope to see you there! Thank you for a great year of service. I am thankful to have served as the LtG of Division 54! I appreciated all your help and support throughout the year.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

There will be a Miracle Minute to support Project Educate, so don’t forget to bring money and your spare change.
The March DCM is on March 16, 2013 at 3pm at Chiawana in room C1038.
There will be snacks for those who attend. There is going to be a St. Patrick’s Day theme, so wear green!
The division shirts should be ready for pick up at the DCM.

We will be making signs for DCON. Our colors are rainbow and our mascot is the wolf. I will provide some supplies, but please bring your own supplies, too.

For all of those who bought Division T-shirts, please wear them to the opening session at DCON. Opening session is the first event after the Meet and Greet.
Don’t forget the semi-formal dress code for the Governor’s Ball. You will not be let in if you are not wearing semi-formal attire.
District Convention
The District Convention is March 22-24, 2013 at the Doubletree in Seattle. Meet over 1500 Key Clubbers from Alaska, California, Canada, Oregon, Idaho, and Washington! I hope you all registered. See you at DCON on March 22nd! Remember to bring business attire.
International Convention
The 2013 70th Annual Key Club International Convention will take place July 3-7 in Washington DC, at the Washington Hilton. On July 4th, we will be watching the fireworks over the mall.

I would like to welcome Alyssa Dyck as our incoming Lt. G. She will be taking over my position at DCON. I cannot wait to see her lead Division 54.
She likes Pringles and serving people. She is the current President of Richland High’s Key Club.
Incoming Lieutenant Governor Facts about St. Patrick’s Day
- In Chicago, the rivers are dyed green on St. Patrick's Day. - In Seattle, there is a ceremony where a green stripe is painted down the roads. - In Ireland, people traditionally wear a small bunch of shamrocks on their jackets or caps on St. Patrick’s Day.
She has just recently received her Lieutenant Governor training at Winter Board in DuPont, WA on February 22nd-24th. All the incoming Lt.G’s, learned table manners, how to write a newsletter, and what to do. She also received information on how to fulfill her duties to Division 54’s clubs. I hope you all get to know her, since she is such an amazing person. I cannot wait for her to be installed.
Please hold your officer elections if you have not already. There is a President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Bulletin Editor, and any other position you would like to have.
Please send me your new officer information after you hold your elections. Thank you!
President - Runs the meetings. Vice President - Runs the meetings when the President is gone and keeps track of hours. Secretary - Takes notes of club meetings. Treasurer - Handles the dues, fundraising, and money for the club. Bulletin Editor - Edits the website, newsletter, and agenda for the club. Other positions if needed.

- The harp is the symbol of Ireland. - Green is associated with St. Patrick's Day because it is the color of Spring. - It is considered lucky to find a four leaf clover on St. Patrick's Day.
