MESSAGE FROM THE DISTRICT GOVERNORMy Dear Family of Rotary,

Warm Greetings!

The month of May is designated as “Youth Service Month” to focus on all Rotary activities that support the development of young people up to the age of 30. In view of this, it becomes the responsibility of Rotarians to turn new generation into the next generation of Rotarians.

Taking this thought forward, the Rotarians of our District are making a conscious effort towards motivating their children and their friends into becoming Rotarians. This has brought about the chartering of 5 NEW GENERATION CLUBS, namely – R.C. of Gurgaon Millenium, R.C. of South Central Next, R.C. of Regency Next, R.C. of Rohtak Royals and R.C. of Restoring Smiles.

Consequently, the tally of our New Generation clubs has now risen to 13. Let us together focus on bringing down the average age of Rotarians in our District, as young people have an unmatched capacity to achieve. Their innovative ideas and enthusiasm enables us to take on bigger and bolder service projects.

Friends, this Rotary year is nearing its end. Your enthusiasm in undertaking various service projects all through the year has been exceptional and praiseworthy. I am also sure that by now you fully understand the importance of the Rotary Foundation. The foundation that has supported and strengthened our service projects and enabled the organization to be what it is today.

To put it simply, a dollar given to The Rotary Foundation in the past has given us more muscle to bring in real and lasting change. It’s now that time of the year when we all need to honour the commitments we have made and donate generously to Our Foundation, so that we get enough financial support in the forthcoming years to Make A Difference in the lives of the lesser privileged.

Regards

Rtn. Ravi ChoudharyDistric Governor, 2017-18R.I. District 3011

Post the event , following was the message from the ' DEAN - SUNNIE AHUJA ' Dear Southenders,It’s always a challenge to host DETS, and we’d like to thank you for attending, for your open-minded attitude and for making it a successful event. We certainly hope that the training seminar has been all that you expected it to be, and that you have taken the opportunity to make new friends, renew old acquaintances, learn and appreciate our association at Southend. We tapped into the experience of our faculty to give us a refreshing perspective on what Southend should be doing to be more successful.
