• Forecasting of cash flow and the amount of guaranteed transfer from the National fund that is required in the RB;

IIST: PRINCIPLES OF INFORMATION SECURITY
Security of IIST is ensured by a comprehensive package of measures aimed at prevention from a leakage, theft, loss, unauthorized annihilation, distortion, copying or blocking of information.
The data transferred by IIST channels are cryptographically protected. Local networks of treasury departments are secured from outer networks with the help of firewalls. Security of the “Server system administrator” connection is ensured by means of SSH protocol.
For the sake of proper security level regardless of the location and connection method authorization of any user of the local treasury system is based on the processes of authentication and identification.
Interaction with the Internet or any other adjacent network features hardware-based protection.
The IIST also features virus protection and intrusion detection software.

Improvement of the treasury system
In January 2008 the software Oracle Applications R12 was updated to the new edition as a result of which:
• It became possible to translate the document workflow in IIST into the Kazakh language with the help of standard multilingual support tools that belong to the latest generation of Oracle software solution;
• New standard features of the latest edition of Oracle E-Business Suite allow to abandon customizations and so reduce the overall owing cost of the system;
• New tools of control and file approval management allow to significantly increase security level of the system;
• The use of Oracle integration complex allows to create a platform for further integration with other subsystems of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan and information systems of other ministries and departments.
