at Whiteleigh farm, Whitstone, Cornwall on behalf of the Uglow family ~

Having sold the herd of milking cows and also the farm, Kivells conducted the sale of farm machinery on site to a good crowd of enthusiastic buyers from all parts of the South West of England. Top call of the day was £20,000 given for the John Deere tractor having done 9,000hrs and going off to the Devon/Somerset border on a beef and sheep farm.

The pick of the mowing/harvesting equipment topped at £2,400 for the grass tedder, £2,300 for the Claas mower and £1,800 for the grass harrows.

The livestock equipment saw the best reach £4,700 for the Hydraulic foot trimming crush being sold to the family who have purchased the farm. The best of the rectangular cattle feeders hit £650 (x3).

Speaking before the sale Kivells director Mark Bromell said “after being regular customers at Kivells markets John and the family move on to their next chapter and we
