Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

O “Snow White” is a fairy tale originally in German. The German version features elements such as the magic mirror, the poisoned apple, the glass coffin, and the seven dwarfs.

O The dwarfs were all given individual names in 1912 on Broadway then given different names in Walt Disney’s 1937 film.

One Hundred and One Dalmatian's

O 101 Dalmatians is a 1961 film produced from Walt Disney and based on the novel by Dodie Smith.

O The movie follows a dog, Pongo, and his handler, Roger. Pongo looks to find love for himself and Roger. And that he does. He finds Anita for Roger and Perdita for himself. Both couples marry.

Beauty and the BeastO The film is based on the fairy tale La

Belle et la Bete by Jeanne-Marie Le Prince de Beaumont.

O The film is centered around a prince who is turned into a beast and a young woman named Belle whom the prince/beast imprisons in his castle.

O To become a prince again, the Beast must love Belle and win her love in return, or he will remain a Beast forever.

Toy StoryO The film follows a group of toys who

pretend to be lifeless whenever humans are present but when no humans are around it’s a different story.

O Main focus is on Woody, a sheriff cowboy, and Buzz Lightyear, an astronaut action figure.

O The two compete for Andy’s (their human) love and end up becoming good friends.

The Fox and the HoundO The film is based on the novel of the

same name by Daniel P. Mannix.O It is the 24th film in the Walt Disney’s

Animated Classics series. O The film tells the story of two unlikely

friends, a red fox an a hound dog who struggle to preserve their friendship despite their emerging instincts and the surrounding social pressures demanding them to be adversaries.

DumboO The film is the fourth film in the Walt

Disney Animated Classics seriesO The main character is Jumbo Jr. who is

nicknamed Dumbo because of his large ears. He is taunted by the other elephants. Little did they all know he would be a big success because of those large ear. He is able to use his ears as wings to fly and is then loved by everyone.
