Welcome to the 2014 edition of the British Aviation Group Directory, a publication that is designed to meet the needs of our own members while also providing a wider, first class

reference document for those in the airport and aviation sector seeking to use the increasing range of products and services that the Group provides. Complete with contact details for all our Member companies, this Directory promotes the very best of British expertise in the industry and has an extensive distribution list, including our overseas embassies.

This year we have 163 companies listed, embracing a Membership that now operates in over 150 countries worldwide and that continues to achieve notable business success. We have world leading experts in almost every professional aviation discipline from PPP/PFI, strategic

consulting and planning, to master planning, design, construction, ATC, security, and equipment supply, and a full listing of our member services is set out overleaf. I am delighted that this expertise and the Group’s standing as the UK’s leading trade association for the sector has again been recognised by the UK Government and the award of a contract to deliver their programme of airport sector overseas missions, seminars and inward visits through 2014. That programme is continuing to evolve but already covers China, Brazil, India, Turkey and a number of other countries, and we will again be at the Dubai Airport Show as well as the biennial Farnborough International Air Show in July.

During the course of 2013 the Group also undertook a number of strategic reviews into the way we operate and interface with our membership. Work included: member engagement; our role in influencing aviation policy; how we run our business missions overseas; and, overarching all, how we communicate, including some initiatives around the use of social media. That work is now bearing dividend and, in the communications context, this year’s Directory reflects the British Aviation Group’s new design and logo. While our core values and activities will remain unchanged, I am confident that our new visual identity will further strengthen our brand and make us more recognisable not only to our members, but to those outside of our organisation. Complementing this initiative, a new website will also launch in 2014 with the aim of both sharpening our market profile and providing enhanced member benefit through the innovation of a ‘Business Opportunities Centre’ based on targeted market intelligence.

I hope that the foregoing gives some sense of the standing of the British Aviation Group and our drive to be progressive.
