Directions to ROC YUGO from U.S. Border

GPS Coordinates: 32•25'20" N, 117•03'50" W

1. Make your way to San Diego. (Both the I-5 and I-805 converge at the San Ysidro border crossing.)2. Crossing the Border: Go slow and stay alert—this can happen very quickly. Getting closer to the border, traffic will be split into several lanes. You will want to be in one of the right-hand lanes. The new international border will now turn you to the right. Continue straight under the Mexico sign.3. As you are passing you will either get a “green light” meaning you can proceed or a “red light” meaning you will have to pull over for secondary inspection. Politely answer their questions and submit to a quick vehicle search and you should be quickly on your way. If you are part of a caravan, and some of your group is pulled over in secondary, there should be plenty of room to wait for your other vehicles after passing through this area (just before reaching the area pictured to the right in #4). After passing through inspection area, stay in the farthest right lane.4. You will then take the first exit to the right the sign says “Playas de Tijuana/Rosarito-Ensenada”. 5. Follow this highway (which at first will parallel the border fence on your right) for 9.8 miles. (Be sure to get into the right lane and watch your mileage. Your exit is at the top of a hill and there is only the one exit sign pictured here in #6.)Note: DO NOT take the “Ensenada Scenic” turn-off on your right, located 3.6 miles after the border crossing. Continue straight at this point under the bridge (with the sign that says “Mexicali, La Mesa, Tecate”).6. Take the “La Gloria, Santa Fe, Rosarito Libre” exit to your right.7. Go another 4.8 miles. You will pass a Pemex gas station on your right, just after the “Bienvenidos a Playas de Rosarito” sign. At the signal, and just before a pedestrian bridge, turn right. From here, watch for the “ROC YUGO” signs with red arrows on the light poles.

8. Go 0.7 miles to the “Y” in the road and make a slight right.

9. Continue straight until the road comes to a “T”. Make a right turn, and then continue to follow the cement road to the left, to the left again, and then to the right. The cement road will end (there will be a school on your left).10. Make the first left (by “Mini Market Aztlan”). Continue about 0.5 mile down the dirt road. ROC YUGO will be on the left. Enter through the large, (2nd) green gate. There is a YUGO Ministries sign to the right of the gate.
