This training will provide participants with the understanding of a broad range of contemporary OHS issues, including compliance with OHS and related legislation, OHS consultation, systematic OHS management, hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control. This training would be suitable for Health and Safety Representatives and Supervisors

Prerequisites:

• Preliminary Consultation prior to commencement

Award issued:

• Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety

Preferred pathways into the qualification:

• BSB41407 Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety. Providing evidence of competency in the majority of units required of the BSB41407 Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety or other relevant qualification

• Extensive vocational experience in providing guidance on Occupational Health & Safety but without formal OHS qualifications

Duration:

• Distance education complete a series of workbooks and workplace projects in your own time, combined with on-going mentoring
