Contest RulesCONTEXT, PURPOSES AND OBJECTIVEThe contests purpose is to recognize an innovative concept car designed by the students of the 2nd batch of Launchpad Academys, Online Diploma in Car Design program.

Projects will be judged based on the following criteria: The ideas boldness, originality and innovation Importance and relevance of the challenge

addressed and inclusion of social needs Presentation value of the submission

CONTEST RULES Only students of the 2nd batch of Launchpad

Academys, Online Diploma in Car Design program are eligible to participate in this contest.

Students of the program have to participate and complete all the weekly assignments/exercises and project work given through-out the course to be eligible for the contest.

The project report/presentation to be submitted at the end of the course shall become the entry of the student for the contest.

Only one entry per student will be accepted. All entries must be an original concept for the given

design brief. Students have to sign a disclaimer saying the work

is their own and they have every right to submit it for the competition.

One winner will be selected among all the applicants. Winner will be chosen by the faculty based on the

performance and enthusiasm shown in the class. Travel period will be anytime between Feb to April 2015. The trip is all-expenses-paid for 3D/4N & covers to-n-fro

airfare from any Indian metro city to Italy. Entry fee to the Ferrari factory and Museum & accommodation will be taken care by Launchpad Academy.

Launchpad will also assist and pay for Visa fees, travel insurance and daily allowance.

Students entry must satisfy all the necessary submission requirements of the given project brief. The sketches should demonstrate front, side and back views.

Entries must be in English. The decision of the jury will be final and binding. All information will be uploaded on the contest page of

our website/FB page. Participants are advised to regularly check the website/FB page for any updates.

All submissions will become the sole property of Launchpad Academy and Launchpad Academy can publish, exhibit or promote the contents of the submission wherever they wish without seeking any permission. However, the participant will continue to hold the copyrights of his/her work.

ELIGIBILITY Students should be enrolled in the 2nd batch of

Launchpad Academys, Online Diploma in Car Design program.

Students should obtain a No-Objection letter from Parents/Guardians to undertake the trip.

Students should have completed all the weekly assignments/exercises and project work given through-out the course to be eligible for the contest.

consulted and led teams in automotive styling at Tata Motors, Tata Elxsi, TVS and General Motors before joining Ashok Leyland.
