Last Friday Alex and I attended a Dinners at the Farm Event at White Gate Farm in East Lyme, CT. Here are some of the photographs we

Our delicious menu was created by Jonathan Rapp or

River Tavern Restaurant in Chester, CT.

The food was prepared on grills set up on these old school trucks.

Dinner was served at long communal tables under a tent in an open field.

The family style dinning offered a chance to meet new people while celebrating local food.

Doesn’t that look good? A watermelon cantaloupe tomato salad with feta was our first course.

White Gate Farm was established in 1974, sits on over a 100 acres of land and has been

certified organic for 11 years.

Before dinner guests mingled over sangria and hor d'oeuvres.
