Dinmore station accessibility upgrade Project update – May 2016 Project progress Recently, work was carried out on the platforms and within the rail corridor to enable main platform construction activities to begin. Other works recently completed include: relocation of signalling equipment towards the northern end of the station service relocations within the station precinct installation of new overhead structures commencement of excavation work for lift shaft foundations. Upcoming works In the coming weeks, the following construction activities will occur: further lift shaft excavation works installation of new light pole footings construction of access road between River Road and platform 1 delivery of major components for lift shaft and stair foundations trenching and conduit work. Construction impacts Construction has commenced on the Dinmore station accessibility upgrade. This upgrade is being undertaken as part of Queensland Rail’s $212 million

Construction impactsCustomers and residents adjacent to Dinmore station may experience:

noise associated with heavy machinery use of reversing beepers mobile lighting towers changed traffic and parking conditions increased vehicle movements around the work

zone.

Residents and other stakeholders will be given advance notification of construction activities likely to cause impacts, including after-hours work (nights and Sundays, if required).

Construction has commenced on the Dinmore station accessibility upgrade. This upgrade is being undertaken as part of Queensland Rail’s $212 million station upgrade program.
