Dine at Home Sacramento Sacramentos Dine at Home Meals Program-All Restaurants Encouraged To Apply!!! The County of Sacramento, in Partnership with Agency on Aging Area 4, is creang the Dine at Home Sacra- mento meal delivery program. The program will ulize local restaurants in idenfied areas to deliver prepared meals to persons over the age of 60 who are sheltering in place. Restaurants and other food service providers interested in parcipang must meet the following criteria: Prepare a total of 14 meals weekly per program parcipant with the ability to provide a minimum of 140 meals. Deliver the prepared meals a minimum of one to two mes a week. Each delivery may contain several meals Ensure all delivery personnel pass a criminal background check Report suspected elder or child abuse Provide nutrious meals per USDA recommendaons: hps://www.nia.nih.gov/health/usda-food- paerns Provide special diets: Vegan/Vegetarian * Kosher/Halal * Low Sodium * Diabec Sensive (Low Sugar) * Nut Free Possess a valid Sacramento County business license and a health permit from the County of Sacramen- to Environmental Health Division Have liability insurance Parcipate in safe food handling pracces as recommended by the CDC, State of California, and County of Sacramento for the COVID-19 pandemic Not parcipate in other federally funded meal delivery programs Enter into a contract with Agency on Aging Area 4 Restaurant selecon will be based on ability to meet the aforemenoned criteria. Addional consideraon will be given to businesses that: Are located in unincorporated areas of Sacramento County or in the cies of Galt, Isleton and Folsom Are minority owned Are located in idenfied Environmental Jusce Communies Are located in areas with higher numbers of older adults Provide ethnically diverse menus Demonstrate a commitment to employee health and safety by providing paid sick leave Applicaons must be submied by 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2020.
