Materials Needed – for 1 block Base Blocks – 2 - 9” squares – muslin or No Show Mesh Back Block - 9” square Front – all cut parts from MBP Warm and Natural or White Batting – 7 7/8” square

LOADING THE MONSTER BLOCK MAKER Place the muslin base fabric flat on the table Place the Monster Block Maker over the top of the fabric Center the cut out over the fabric Set the Monster Block Maker down onto the bottom base fabric

Place the batting on top of the bottom base fabric

Place the Top base No Show Mesh over the batting Working from the center out, firmly press the top base fabric and bottom base fabric to the double stick tape Attach the hoop to the machine Stitch Color #26 – the basting border

ADDING THE BLOCK BACK AND EMBELLISHMENT Lighty spray the wrong side of the fashion fabric back block Add the back fabric to the back side of the hoop Stitch Color #21 – the basting border - This will attach the back to the block Note: If you’ll be doing a Whole Cloth Back, skip this step

Stitch color #23 – the stippling and ribbon placement

You can use actual ribbon or make your own – I used a 2” x 4 ½” strip of fabric, turned the sides and ends under to make the finished ribbon 1” x 3 ½” Place the ribbon using the center lines from color #23
