• Legacy of the DTG is the discussion material

• Website will remain live but not updated and will be linked to key sites

• Alignment of standards project is ongoing, level 1 at consultation, levels 2 & 3 to come

• Additional material will be developed by end 2010 (resources, exemplars, guidelines)

Related information• Current L1 external achievement

standards (IM and Tech) will expire in 2011 (Secqual S2010/010 - 30 March 2010)

• Unit standard based courses can still be run for Yr12/13 students and will still contribute to NCEA quals.

• Some expiry of Computing US as a result of duplication with new AS, not known until all levels released

• There will be a transition period

Course endorsement (not subject)

• Starts in 2011• Courses can be endorsed with M or E• Course must have a minimum of 14

credits of graded standards and at least 3 credits must either be externally assessed or 3 credits internally assessed (i.e no fully internal or external courses are permitted)

• A course can contain US but over and above 14 credits required (US not for endorsement but could count for NCEA)
