� Many of those who could benefit from learning how to use digital technology have friends and family living far away. Many of those who could benefit from learning how to use digital technology have friends and family living far away. Getting to see them was often difficult for reasons of cost or mobility.

� Skyping offers a tempting alternative demonstrations

� Fortunately we recruited an experienced facilitator (Pinky) who understood the challenges: she developed a programme to engage and enliven a programme to engage and enliven

� We placed our volunteer opportunities with Team London, Hands on London and VCL

� Over the last year we have attracted volunteers who kindly provide patient, 1-on

We currently have three regular volunteers giving their time and skills – so there is plenty of support for all attending

The outcomes - Over the nine months of the project,

�22 women and seven men participated

�Of those 29 individual attendees, 21 were retired
