What is E-mail?
An e-mail address allows you to send and receive electronic messages via the internet.
Components of an E-mail Address
E-mail addresses have three main components – The username, the @ (“at”) symbol, and the host’s name.

Step 1: Open Up Your Browser

Chrome
Open your internet browser either from the desktop or the start menu.
Step 2: Enter Web Address
Using Gmail as an example, type in the web address: www.google.com.
Step 3: Find the Gmail link.
Step 4: Create an Account
Create account by typing in your name and choosing a login and password you can remember easily.
Step 5: Provide information
Fill in the required fields (security question, your location and birth date), and accept Google’s terms of service.
Step 6: Sign In!
Congratulations! You’re ready to sign-in to your account and e-mail your loved ones!
