Digipak and magazine advert research A digipak is a patented style of optical disc packaging, and is a registered trademark of AGI-Shorewood, an Atlas Holdings LLC company. Digipaks typically consist of a gatefold paperboard or card stock outer binding, with one or more plastic trays capable of holding a CD or DVD attached to the inside.

Digipak

A magazine advert is a way that the artist or band shows off their new album, or tour. This allows them to get more fans and views. This advert will be made different so that it stands out to any other adverts and to make sure that they get as many people as possible to see it. Usually adverts are short ad simple to get the word across.

Magazine advert

When making our own digipak and magazine advert it is important to make them short and simple so that they are advertised well. But this also allows people to read the whole advert and it will get the point across. It will also be made effectively by making sure that all the main components are there, for example: main image, title, name of artist etc.
