Digipack and Poster Feedback

We did a feedback session where everyone gave feedback on everyone’s digipacks and their poster, this gave me advice and improvements to do on my work. This is the feedback that I received from everyone.

Starting with the negative and improvements –

The posters text is kind of hard to read with the colours of the back ground and the colours of the font.

Not sure of the placement of band name on magazine ad, doesn’t show importance.

The background of the front cover of the album doesn’t work very well and the colour of the titles.

Needs more legal information and its placement.

The poster needs more information like website and record labels.

Don’t like the pineapple.

All the fonts’ different sizes – perhaps too different…

Legal information good but not formal

Back ground on poster good but hard to read text.

2nd half bottom maybe play around with files.

Prefer first album.

These are the improvements that I need to do on the and I will include them in my work, the poster does have a hard test to read to the back ground and after noticing this from the feedback it does need to be improved and I will address this in my next draft. The placement of the artists titles does need to be shown some attention as they are being seen as not more important than other things on the poster. There is not enough legal information on the back of the album and that does need some improvements not just the amount be the font as well. A draft can be made without the pineapple.

The positive feedback –

Front cover is “sick”, good fonts and effective with background (album)

Back cover looks very good.

Like the disk layout.

Nice images.

Poker chip is a great idea.

Like CD idea relevant to music video.

Good themed images.

Co0lours match and poker chip is a good idea.

Nice layout, nice song title, simple/creative images.

Relevant to song.

A lot of these comments contradict so improvements will still be made but along the same lines. The feedback is very helpful and constructive, it will help me improve my digipack and poster.

In conclusion the feedback that I have got is very helpful and will be considered in the improvements.
