“Did You Hear That?”-

StorylineA group of teenagers go off to the woods in search of the huntsman to see if the myths about him are true. They hear an unusual noise coming from deeper in the woods that one of them goes to suss out. One by one they disappear but is it really

the huntsmen they are to be afraid of?

“Did You Hear That?”- Location

I have decided to set my film in the local woods with a sub location of another destination in

Baldock. The woods is a popular horror convention of location. In the dark especially it creates mysterious shadows that are unnerving

for the audience. It was the fear of the unknown as there is no source of light in the

woods so you have no idea where you may be going or what may be around you at any time.

All there is, is you, maybe a torch and the noises around.

“Did You Hear That?”-

Characters• 6 very different friends- All characters seem up for the idea at

first but one character does not. This is the character that goes missing first which startles the rest of the group. Each character begins to

become more scared and the ones most scared are the next to leave.

• “Huntsman”- This characters face remains

unseen during the opening but may appear

at the end of the film. The only thing that is

seen of this character are his large hands that cover a characters

mouth.

“Did You Hear That?”-

Costumes• Friend 1 • Friend 2• Friend 3• Friend 4• Friend 5 • Friend 6• Huntsman

All characters need to be

wearing pale coloured clothes.

This connotes they’re pure and they are innocent

through the occasion. Also these will show up better in the

dark so won’t get lost amongst the

shadows. The clothes they wear

should be their own and express each personality individually as well as keeping with the modern fashions to make it clear this film is

filmed in the present era.

“Did You Hear That?”- LightingThe only source of lighting that will

be used in my film will be the use of torches, possibly a campfire.

This makes everything more creepy and creates a scary

atmosphere because the lighting will create misleading shadows

that the audience could find unsettling, not knowing what’s

going on around the characters for certain.
