Did Michelle Obama Say that She Wants Botox?

First Lady Michelle Obama told People Magazine in a recent  interview  that getting plastic surgery or Botox injections in the future is not something she is against. She believes women should have the liberty to do whatever is necessary to make them feel beautiful and confident, and if it takes Botox treatments to make one feel beautiful, then so be it.

Regular Check-ups and Healthy EatingMrs. Obama said she does not believe plastic surgery and Botox injections is the path she

would choose to take in the future, but she is not completely ruling out that option either.

The main message she wants to send to women is to take care of their health. The First Lady

went on to say that throughout her life, she has never missed a health checkup; this

includes Pap smears, mammograms, and her colonoscopy. Mrs. Obama’s advice is to not

become obsessive over what you eat, yet make sure to consume a lot of fruits and

vegetables throughout the day

Exercise is ImportantWhile getting regular health checkups and eating a balanced diet are essential to feeling

and looking beautiful, exercise is equally as important. It is no secret that Mrs. Obama

promotes exercise and exercises herself. She has a campaign that hit its 5-year mark this

year called “Let’s Move” that is aimed at reducing the rates of childhood obesity. “Let’s

Move” urges children to exercise and eat healthy in order to maintain a healthy weight. The

First Lady works out regularly, from weight lifting and cardio workouts to yoga and other

types of exercise that help her stay flexible.

It’s Important to be a Role ModelOne thing that drives her is a desire to have an impact on others. She stated that whether it

is as a professional, or a mother, she wants to have an impact on others and set a good

example for those around her. When President Barack Obama and Mrs. Obama leave the

White House in 2017, their daughter Malia will be a college student, and their other daughter

Sasha will not be too far behind her. Speaking about the future of their family, she said, “The

sky is the limit.” Setting an example and being a positive influence on the people who have

been placed in your life are things that Mrs. Obama firmly believes in.

50 but Still Young and ThrivingAlthough Mrs. Obama just recently celebrated her 50th birthday, she is optimistic about her

age, her health, and life in general. She jokingly said that being the First Lady is “pretty high

up there”, but that her life is only growing and blossoming as the years go by. She stated

that she did not feel as though she had the right to sit on her blessings or talents. President

Obama says he is continually in awe of his wife; the President stated that as Mrs. Obama

reaches her new milestone in life, she is more beautiful and wiser than ever before.

Mrs. Obama seems to have her life in balance. She focuses on eating healthy, without

becoming obsessive, exercising in a fun and exciting way by changing up her workout

routines frequently, and feeling beautiful. Although Botox treatments are not something she

sees herself doing anytime soon, she has learned to keep an open mind, because one day in

the future, she may change her mind about Botox injections for herself.
