Finite (adjective) Having a terminating set of objects (concrete or abstract). Terminating - Being limited and being epistemically possible to physically go through the entire set. o Limited - Having upper and lower boundaries that cannot be exceeded. Exceed - To go past a point. o Epistemically Possible - It is possible based on our knowledge. o Physically go through - That we could examine every object given enough time. Enough Time - If we were to be immortal or (more realistically) as a continuous group, collectively, have a sufficient amount of time. Set - A group. Objects - Anything in the world (as viewed by the "standard view").
