When looking at the Median Sales Prices, we are still experiencing year over year increases, but there is a slight slowing of the pace here as well. The 2013 median sales price through June was an astonishing 33% higher than the 2012 median. However, the 2014 median sales price was 15% higher than 2013. A 15% increase in median sales price is still very good, and certainly more sustainable.

The market continues to improve overall, especially when compared over the past few years. Whether you’re a homebuyer or looking to sell, being informed on market conditions allows you to make smart choices. The partners of Dickson Realty have announced the formation of a new full service commercial real estate firm, Dickson Commercial Group, Inc. Prior to the formation of the new company, Dickson Commercial was housed under Dickson Realty. Dickson Commercial Group with a group of investors purchased the three-story, 14,017 square foot office building at 333 Holcomb Ave. at the edge of Reno’s downtown and Midtown districts. After renovations, Dickson Commercial Group will move its offices to the second floor of this location. A Dickson Realty residential office will be on the first floor. The third floor, totaling 5,500 square feet, will also be renovated and available for lease.

Dickson Realty is also growing in the Truckee/Tahoe areas. A new office at the entrance to Tahoe Donner has been built; new offices have also been opened at Donner Lake, in Graeagle, and in Nakoma.
