Book Week and Book Fair 2018

This term, Nareena Hills will be eagerly taking part in the CBCA Book Week celebrations. Book week gives teachers, students and the community members the opportunity to embrace their love of literature. The theme for this year is ‘Find Your Treasure’. We will be hosting a Book Fair and School Parade on Wednesday the 19 September at 9am on the basketball court. Students and parents are invited to dress up as their favourite book character for the day.

A Book Fair will also be taking place, selling a range of books for students. If your child wishes to purchase a book, they will be available in the school Library, following the book parade. For your convenience, books will also be available for purchase, before school (8:30-9:00am) and after school (3:00-3:30pm), from the 18 - 20 of September.

Baseball - Ever wanted to try Baseball?

Wollongong Junior Cardinals is holding 2 “Try Baseball” days for all boys and girls aged 3+. The dates are: Sunday 12 August 12pm - 2pm and Saturday 18 August 12pm - 2pm. Both events are free and will be held at Figtree High - Gibsons Rd Figtree. There will be a FREE SAUSAGE SIZZLE and heaps of fun baseball activities. Come and check it our.
