After achieving remarkable success as a real estate agent in the 1970’s, Diane Turton earned her broker’s license in 1974. Based on her successful track record, Diane had the confidence and courage to open her first Diane Turton, Realtors office in Bay Head, New Jersey in 1986. Today, Diane Turton, Realtors is a full-service real estate company with 23 offices serving New Jersey’s Monmouth and Ocean Counties and an affiliate office in Southeast Florida. The company provides a wide range of residential real estate services including sales, rentals and relocations. Turton Commercial Real Estate, an affiliated company of Diane Turton, Realtors, sells and leases all types of commercial property. The company is staffed with nearly 500 sales associates along with a full-time management/support staff and in 2007 reported closed sales volume of over $1.3 billion. This is the third time in three consecutive years that the company has recorded sales of over $1 billion. In 2006, Mrs. Turton and Diane Turton, Realtors reached key milestone as Diane marked her 40th year in the real estate business and the company celebrated its 20th year of operations.In addition, the firm operates the fully-owned subsidiary called Turton Financial Holdings, Inc., which is a one-stop center for mortgage financing and title insurance as well as property and casualty insurance. Recently, Diane Turton, Realtors launched a program to create a more environmentally sustainable company. The firm is the first residential real estate company in New Jersey to join the national U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and its New Jersey Chapter. The firm is working with the Sea & Green LLC consultants in Ocean County, N.J., to develop a set of green policies and procedures for the company.A nationally recognized leader, Diane is a sought-after motivational speaker, board member and media spokesperson. Recently, she was the keynote speaker at the Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate Conference, the nation's leading independent real estate news service and content provider to consumers and the real estate industry. She also participated in the ongoing United Way of Ocean County Leadership series that included education seminars, presentation and mentoring by women for women. Family

Diane and her husband, Bruce Turton, have been married for more than 30 years and reside in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey. They have two grown sons. David, a graduate of Rider College in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, and Jason, a graduate of the University of Vermont. Both live locally and are part of the Diane Turton, Realtors team.

Professional Education and Licenses

Diane attended Rider College in Lawrenceville, NJ where she majored in real estate and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce. Diane became a licensed agent in 1966 at the age of 19 and received her broker’s license in 1974. She received her CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation in 1989 and went on to receive her CRB (Certified Residential Broker and LTG (Leadership Training Graduate) designation in 1990.

In addition to contributing much of her time to a number of local, state and national boards including the Board of Directors for Friends of Dottie’s House and the Advisory Board for the American Red Cross, Jersey Coast Chapter, Diane actively participates in a wide range of community activities and supports many deserving causes, charities, fundraisers and drives. Her efforts have helped thousands of people and have earned her numerous awards including being honored by the American Cancer Society in 2006, the 2005 Clara Barton Humanitarian Award by the American Red Cross, Jersey Shore Chapter, and the 2005 Distinguished Citizens Award by the Boy Scouts, Jersey Shore Council, which was presented to Diane along with her husband, Bruce. She also received the 2004 Humanitarian of the Year Award from the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties and the Western Monmouth Chamber of Commerce presented Ms. Turton with the 2004 ATHENA Award that honors those that have achieved success in their business or profession, given back in a significant way to their community, and assisted women in reaching their full potential.

Diane is committed to the communities served and participates in many community projects which include a scholarship that is donated to both the Point Pleasant Beach and Point Pleasant Borough High Schools every year. In addition, she is an active member of the local Chamber of Commerce groups and partakes in many chamber events including the annual Halloween Parade and Easter Egg Hunt. During the holiday season, Diane rallies her company together to sponsor less fortunate families with children to provide them with food and gifts for the holidays. In addition, Diane is a major sponsor of the Festival of the Sea Concert Series with Father Alphonse, Habitat for Humanity and the American Cancer Society.

During the holiday season, Diane and her company contributed over 1,000 toys, gift certificates and new clothes items that were given to the Salvation Army, Dottie’s House and Family and Children’s services. Additionally, Diane and the Turton Team raised over $20,000 for Hurricane Katrina relief.
