A new Exhibition from kensington palace

Princess Diana remains one of the mostcelebrated fashion icons in recent history.
Now, at the 20th anniversary of her death,Kensington Palace will be celebrating hermemory with a public exhibition entitled
Diana: Her Fashion Story.
According to Kensington Palace itself, theexhibition will showcase how Diana’s style
evolved over time, beginning with her“demure, romantic outfits” before
transforming into the “glamour, eleganceand confidence” that characterized her
time as princess.
The exhibition will feature some of Diana’smost famous outfits, such as the pale pink
Emanuel blouse she wore for herengagement portrait by Lord Snowdon in1981 as well as Victor Edelstein’s iconic inkblue velvet gown, which Diana wore when
she danced with John Travolta at the WhiteHouse.
Additionally, a recently discovered bluetartan Emanuel suit that Diana wore on
an official trip to Venice in the 1980swill also go on public display for thefirst time. The suit was actually onlydiscovered by Historic Royal Palaces,
the charitable organization responsiblefor Kensington Palace, at an auction.
The exhibit will also feature atemporary “White Garden,” which willinclude flowers and foliage inspired byDiana’s life, like forget-me-nots, tulips,and English white roses, among others.
