Re: Drill Hole MN30-5
1. Hole MN30-5: Hole was started on Dec 5 and finished Dec 7. Location: UTM 16U 511700E, 5842150N, NAD 83. A small N-S grid was established with 100m spacing. The hole was spotted at BL 0+13 m E, drilled grid east, with a dip of -450. The hole flattened slightly, according to the drillers, as rods were binding at the end. No dip tests were done. A complete drill log is attached with this memo.
2. Airborne geophysics: Condor-Geotech anomaly N30 is a long, northsouth trending magnetic high about 2 km long and 250 m wide. A N-S trending conductor with maximum Ad Tau conductivity of 0.6 is located central to the magnetic high.
3. Geology of Drill Hole MN30-5:
Overburden 10 m. Meta-gabbro and meta-anorthositic gabbro.
Foliation mostly at 450 to core axis suggesting that units dip steeply. There is no evidence of significant folding. At 102.5 m foliation is locally at 600 to core axis.
A possible interflow sediment-crystal tuff occurs from 185-188 m. Sediment is green, chloritic, finely bedded ash with carbonate beds and thin quartz beds with minor carbonate. Bedding is on 1/4 to V2 cm scale. Foliation is almost parallel to core axis.
· :
Chlorite-quartz-carbonate feldspar crystal tuff at 186 m.
Metamorphic grade: upper amphibolite with minor garnet. Biotite and tremolite occur locally. Original feldspar crystal outlines have been obscured and resorbed.
Sulfides: pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite occurs as patches and thin discontinuous veinlets and thin wisps. Pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite are disseminated and interstitial to feldspar and pyroxene. In one instance a pyrrhotite-cha Icopyrite patch was seen.
Pyrite-pyrrhotite bleb at 76.9 m
Occasional 10- 20 cm thick layers with 1-2 % pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite. 136.7 several mm thick pyrite veins in dark green chloritic ash tuff. minor chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite at 191.5, 192.95, interstitial pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite common.
2
3
Magnetite: two layers of massive to semi-massive magnetite occur. As well, interstitial magnetite is common in the gabbro and is concentrated in some sections sufficiently to attract a magnet. Massive magnetite layers 39.6 to 42 and 105.8 to 107.0 assay interval 373078, 373079 and 373080. The magnetite is fine grained, semi-massive to massive. The semi-massive variety has fine dark green chloritic layers in between magnetite layers. A gradational layer was observed about 1-1.5 m thick, consisting from top to bottom of:
minor pyrite in chloritic layer chloritic ash tuff massive magnetite chloritic (minor magnetite) chloritic anorthositic, feldspar- rich gabbro
up hole
down hole
MN30-S Massive fine-grained magnetite approximately 3 m thick.
'.
4
Textural and colour variations:
Most of the hole penetrated uniform gabbro and feldspar-rich gabbro, dark green to black in colour or light coloured where feldspar rich. No clear indication of differentiation trends leading top determinations were seen. A vaguely defined, gradational contact occurs between finer and coarse-grained anorthositic gabbro at end of Box 12.
There are several textural variations:
1. Leopard spot texture, consisting of 1-2 cm dark green fine- grained, uniform coloured, irregularly shaped fragments in a lighter chloritic green matrix that contains minor chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite. This texture is rare.
2. Igneous breccia? anorthositic gabbro fragments, semi-rounded, (white and black spotted) in a fine-grained dark green, chloritic matrix. magnetite is interstitial to feldspar and altered pyroxene
3. No evidence of spinifex or other komatiitic (polygonal jointing etc) textures were seen. The intrusion appears to be tholeiitic. Possibly it consists of a series of flows, as chloritic units that may be interflow sediments were encountered near the bottom of the drill hole. Metamorphism has obscured textures to some extent.
4. Dikes: 162.8 to 163.2 baSiC, greyish green, very fine grained. Several thin (10-20 cm) coarser, pegmatitic dikes.
MN30-S Typical anorthositic gabbro

MN30-S Typical gabbro
Interpretation:
Without assays, interpretation is limited to geology and geophysics.
1. The N30-5 area is 1 km south and along strike from an outcrop on which the following are the best PGE values for grab and channel samples:
Sample Au (ppb) Pt(ppb) Pd (ppb) Cu (ppm) Ni (ppm) Type
Grab 1 9 < 15 23 19 38
Channel Sa 12 28 19 1619 430
Channelsb 8 80 24 1789 463
Channel 6 5 111 19 326 38
2. Airborne EM shows a moderate conductor coincident within a wider magnetic high.
3. A ground magnetometer was able to pick out massive magnetite layers, which may constitute stratigraphic markers.
4. Textural variations. Differentiation and layering is subtle and on a metre scale, with possible cryptic layering, rather than obvious differentiation from basal peridotitic to upper felsic-granophyric. There are pegmatitic, coarser sections.
6
5. Sulfides are patchy and discontinuous., but abundant throughout the hole. No obviously continuous layer of sulfides was encountered on initial logging.
I·-
7
Recommendations.
1. Obviously, assay results are needed.
2. If any significant PGE assays are obtained, a fence of drill holes should be designed to cross stratigraphy from upper to lower contact to look for thicker and continuous sulfide-PGE layers.
3. Whole rock geochemistry, trace element, REE and PGE analyses should be carried out on major rock types and sulfides. A sulfur saturation horizon should be sought and element ratios (S/Se) As, Sb, R-factor, 5 isotopes etc should be used to determine the origin of the metals and seek economic PGE (and Ni) concentrations.
4. Occurrence of sulfides should be described in detail in terms of mineralogy, textural variation, geochemistry.

Hi Steve,
I'm writing this report on behalf of MacDonald Mines Exploration as there "Agent" in response the two 45 day notices for transaction numbers W0640.00102 and W0640.00300. Please review and get back to me with your thoughts.
Transaction Number W0640.00102
1 a-The number of holes drilled for this submission was just the one hole indicated in the log and report which was drilled to a length of 195.0 meters ..
1 b-The mining land which the work was performed is in the Thunder Bay Mining District, BMA 526864, Located in the James Bay Lowlands and is only accessible by air. The drill crew was stationed in Webequie Ontario which is approximately 25-30 KM from drill site.
1 c-As part of the original submission I included various maps showing the land worked in relation to available landmarks with UTM co-ordinates.
1d-The author of the report was Ulrich Kretschmar of Exploration Geoscience Associates Inc, 408 Bay Street Orillia Ontario L3V-3X4. The work was supervised by Ulrich Kretschmar and Ray Lashbrook of Lashex Limited, 973 Pinecreek Rd South RR#1 Callander Ontario POH-1HO.
1 e-Prior to the drilling of the one hole various work was conducted and submitted in various other submissions. This involved airborne survey, line cutting, EM and Mag ground geophysics.
1f-The report was completed on December 22,2004 by Ulrich Kretschmar.
Transaction Number W0640.00300
1-Figure 1 was never provided to MacDonald's, in my original submission I included a location map of the McNugget Project in the James Bay Lowlands, hopefully that can be used.
2-There is a figure on page thirteen of the report which is listed in the table of contents as Figure 5. This is the only Figure that was provided to MacDonald's relating to the subject mentioned in the report.
I trust I have covered the pOints that were listed for both submissions, please feel free to give me a call or e-mail to discuss. Please find attached the assay certificates as requested.
Regards,
Jacob McKinnon MacDonald Mines Exploration "Agent"
