It has come to our attention that certain party or parties have been distributing in the market imitation of Vernier Caliper and Dial Indicator using designs, illustrations, company logo and
packaging which are fundamentally on the whole and in parts merely the imitation of our Mitutoyo Vernier Caliper model No. 530-312, 505-671 and Mitutoyo Dial Indicator model No.2046S and 513-404. Mitutoyo Corporation, a company, in accordance with the ordinance of Japan residing at 20-1, Sakado 1-chome, Takatsu-ku, Kawasaki-shi, Tokyo, Japan, is the INITIAL USER and ONE AND ONLY PROPRIETOR of MITUTOYO trademark.
Choose the genuine products for reliability, high accuracy, and quality - backed by Mitutoyo, a name you can trust!
To all trading companies, dealers, stores and imitators concerned, you are hereby strongly warned to stop this illegal act and retract from the distribution of such imitation products and destroy all such imitation products, labels, packaging one after another to avoid claims by Mi-tutoyo in accordance with either civil or legal law. To the retailers and customers in general you are expected to be aware so as not to purchase such imitation products, and to bring to our attention should you be approached by any party or parties concerned. Mitutoyo Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of Mitutoyo Corporation, Japan and the Regional Headquarters for South-East Asia, will not hesitate to institute legal proceedings against any party who has been found to infringe the patent and copyright of the Mitutoyo trademark.
