DHIRUBHAI AMBANI INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL MUN OCTOBER 10-13,2019

541 delegates from 24 national and international schools congregated at The Dhirubhai Ambani International School ,Mumbai to debate , discuss and resolve issues related to the theme of DAIMUN ,which was 'The Asian Century : Tectonic shift and global relations’.The Ardee School ,NFC was represented by 11 delegates who attended the conference from October 10 – 13 ,2019.

The highlights of the three days of intensive discussions were:• Historical Crisis Committee

Darfur

Working as a part of the Special Political and Decolonization Committee was an incredibly great experience. The resolutions were all very creative and carefully prepared. Amending the various types of resolutions to the conflicts was also very well argued and presented. Overall, it was an enriching experience.

Reflections I learnt all about the Thimun procedure as Thimun is quite different from HMUN and has a more practical sense to it as you talk less about the problems and more about the solution. However ,it is repetitive which can be exhausting.
