Branch Club of Brian Boswell Circus Lions Club

The Magaliesburg Branch Club of Brian Boswell Circus is certainly getting round the multiple district. Here the Welkom Lions club came to visit and watched the show. They brought 55 mentally handi-capped children along to watch the show. At each town they stop, they spread the name of Li-ons. What wonderful coverage! Keep up the good work!

The Magaliesburg Lions also look after our environment. They have spent a few weekends trying to eradicate the problematic Pom Pom weed which is taking over the bush. Seen in picture Lions Val Elske and Yvonne Richter working hard for the environment.

Henley-on-Klip visit

Barn Dance at Henley-on-Klip

Another pleasant evening was spent with the Henley on Klip Lions who pulled out all the stops! A small town club but very busy in the community, certainly mak-ing their mark! We both enjoyed the visit im-mensely! And will certainly sup-port their fun evenings again!

What a pleasant evening was spent with the Henley-on-Klip Lions at their Barn Dance. The hall was packed to capacity and the music catching. We thoroughly enjoyed the at-mosphere and the friendship shown. LP Kathy McCartney was a won-derful hostess to all. Line dance demonstrations con-tinued throughout the evening. Well done!

Brian Boswell Circus Branch Lions Club with Melvin

New Members—Welcome into our wonderful organisation.

Editor [email protected]

The Brian Boswell Branch Club of Magaliesburg certainly gets around—spreading the name of Lions Clubs International. At most stops they treat the underprivileged to a show. They even had the privilege to have Melvin the Lion attend.

The best way to change a situation is to change ourselves, because that is the only thing we have the right or the ability to control.
